Do not arm wrestle!

I arm wrestled a bunch of my friends last week and now my arm kills. That was almost a week ago. I mean it doesn't hurt if I don't use it for anything, but when I tried to play raquetball on Tuesday I hit a few balls and then I have a deep throbbing pain in my elbows for about 2 hours. I don't know how to get it to go away. I tryed working out once this week, but I couldn't do shit so I just left.

So word of the wise..do not arm wrestle to prove your strength, take them to the gym to show everyone ur a BA. Maybe my form is bad, but I don't know, this is really annoying. Hopefully I'll be ready to go full again on Monday, but in the mean time I'm going to go to the gym right now and try to do some Squats and Deads. We'll see.
 
I once bumped my elbow on a doorframe and couldn't do any kind of press for a 2 weeks because it inflamed the tricep tendon. Life's a bitch!

Another piece of advice might be to learn how to arm-wrestle before doing it. Always warm up first, too, or start with the smaller guys. I once dived straight into arm-wrestling someone and couldn't work with that arm for three weeks. It shouldn't be killing your elbow unless you were doing something wrong.
 
my elbow hurts right now from doin too heavy on overhead ext :(

i did hurt my arm wresting too? but when u win, its not so bad
 
An arm wrestle isn't a true test of strength anyhow. Good cheats include bending their wrist and pulling their arm forward. If anyone wants a strength competition with me, I'll see them at the squat rack!!!
 
You might just try iceing your elbow until the ice pack goes warm. I could also be your anconeus muscle. It doesn't take much to inflame it. Just a thought.
 
This past friday at the school when i teach, the librarian was asked to armwrestle this 8th grade football player. Long story short, the librarian didnt' want to be showed up by this kid and put all his strength into it and dislocated the kids ac joint in his shoulder AND tore some ligament in the kids elbow! crazy shit!
