Do men like to be hit on?

of course we do

Lol. Oh Good God. That idea is flawed, how did her ideas convince you to abandon your ethics? She didn't need to argue that greed was good, just that it EXISTS. How the hell was that such an easy sell for you?

That is assuming your ethics are truly the most correct. Ethics aren't concrete. That's arguable. I may not have explained her theory exactly in full, but it makes sense. Just like Obama is calling republicans evil because they don't want socialized healthcare. That doesn't mean we're evil. It's the way you look at it. In a nutshell, putting others before yourself is perhaps natural if you care for them, but it's not best for you. Take that as you wish. And for the record she doesn't think actual greed is good. I said what some people call "greed" is good. For instance "greedy" evil corporations. Some think they are evil incarnate. Watch the movie atlas shrugged. Imagine you'll get my meaning.

i've never read the book myself but i heard it espouses greed and self indulgence, pretty much Nietchian in origin no? is it true that the book portrays greed as something desireable or is that just a way people smear her captialist ideals? I've heard both arguments so i really don't no...i'm not in the mood to sit down and read a 1000 page book about a guy who runs trains. lols

lulz

Well depends on what you or they mean by greed (usually its different than her definition) but yes.

She argues that morals derive from self-interest as does integrity etc. Something like that. Blah.

^^^^ I never could finish the book but I did see the movie and her point is a lot more clear in it. It could easily be smeared this way just as anything capitalist is twisted to seem evil. The movie ends with the country's most wealthy and successful man burning everything he created and disappearing, leaving a sign that says "left it how I found it." it's actually a utopian idea and can't even happen. But if everyone worried only about bettering themselves and no one else, we would all be better off. Something like that. That's also VERY controversial and I wouldn't expect everyone to agree right off the bat, but don't dismiss it as flawed right off just because it's not the norm. Open your mind a little lol

conservative meanie alert!!!!!!!!!!

I am super forward if I'm looking for sex, though, because what the point? That's not very often though that I'm attracted to a guy enough to want to hit it but not enough to want to be with him.

this right here is exactly why golden delicious used to drive a p.o.s. car and act like he was barely employed.
