Dnp Didnt Work!!!!!

New member
well i just finished a 10 day dnp cycle (powder; 600 mgs a day) and i tried the low carb route....and today (seven days after my last dnp dose) Ive found out that i didnt loose shit on the scale...maybe 1 pd tops!! Now i know that everyone says that u should use calipers and what not...but usually after completing a dnp cycle...i can see the results in front of the mirror...but this time i didnt notice any difference. Now i was eating pretty low cals...below maintenance ( iam positive my calories were very low 1500 to 2000 cals a day...maybe even too low..i weigh 200 pds by the way)and i felt incredibly hot and uncomfortable and out of breath during my cycle...so i know that it wasnt bunk. Plus ive done several other dnp cycles throughout my life...so i know what the effects feel like and wat the results are supposed to look like as well. So what the hell could i have done wrong?? Please let me know cus i neede to prepare for a show....was it the low carbs???too low calories?? something else??Please let me know if u guys can help

I have to agree that the mirror is the best tool to use to measure bodyfat loss. No, wait a second. I changed my mind. I think the scale is the best tool to use.

I think it's a waste time of using calipers to determine body fat losses. My calipers are on their way to the garbage.

I just finished a crystal cycle of 600mgs/ed. I was told you should not cut carbs too much. You need them to fuel the fire so to speak. I ate fruit as snacks and I burned up. AC was on high, fan on high, my girl wore sweats to bed with a comforter and I laid on top of the covers sweating my ass off. I would double check with the carbs bro, I know it worked for me.

If you were going to go the low carb/calorie route, or were going to be on longer than 3 days, why didn't you cycle it with T-3? Maybe some people claim to not need it, but DNP slows down the metabolism/thyroid, which is why stacking T-3 with your DNP is recommended for best results.

I've been having a similar problem. I was dropping an average of 2lbs/day when on dnp but after one cycle, all fat loss halted. Originally, I thought it was from low T3 levels, but I got them checked and free T3 was within the normal range. Also, estradiol levels were high. I think the remaining fat is probably stubborn estrogenic fat, so I’ll be trying out Femera as soon as I can get my hands on some....

You need carbs for DNP to work correctly. My brother found this while getting ready for his last show. He was eating 5 or less carbs a day and DNP gave only minimal results. Dnp was good, and it normally works for him. Only change was low carbs.

Best luck

I tell you something that's even more surprising than Sonny's statement. Why are some of the posters 'assuming' that Sonny did not lose fat while using such a profound fat burner such as DNP at low calories based on the scale/mirror with at least questioning how he has determined whether or not he lost bodyfat?

Sonny, bro...get some CALIPERS. Get a pair of Slimguide. What will it take? Even Andy13 (who knows tons about DNP like the back of his hand) has even stated the same thing.

Sonny, I will give you a tip though and this is from personal experience. The more DNP you do and the lower calories you go for an extended period of time, the harder you work your metabolism. So by the time that DNP clears yours system and your hormone profile is fucked up where you start out in 'starvation mode' or with a horrible metabolism, you will pile on the fat fast. How did I determine this? Simple. Skinfold measurements jumped way high in a short time frame once I ceased DNP. I was eating close to half my maintanence for over a week on 600mg of DNP (this is one of those experiments I regret that I tried to lose fat ASAP) and you can bet that my body couldn't take that shit.

Sonny first:

1. GET CALIPERS.
2. KEEP TRACK of your calories.
3. Don't drop your calories too low while using DNP, 10 cal/lb of bw is plenty low enough while on DNP.
4. Watch your calories when you get off DNP. If you dont want to watch your caloric intake when you get off DNP as strictly, then keep dieting.....do some good weight training (I believe Andy13 recommends a full bodyworkout, which seems the best) and do a 24-36 hour refeed.

5. Look into bromocrptine, this may be the true and only cure to repairing a screwed up metabolism and may help tremendously.
Ive been on bromo for over two weeks and Im getting superb fat loss at low calories with some good weight training. Side effects go away in a week.

Today is my last day of my DNP cycle. I see no results yet but I'm starting to realize low carb is definatly not the way to go. People say you don't see results until after the cycle but I find that hard to beleive. Especially with all this rebound crap.
I'm going to start my next cycle in 10 days with high carbs/high protein and low fat so we'll see how that goes.

I'm pretty sure my DNP is legit because I was experiencing all the normal sides and I accidently got some on my fingers and theyre stained really bad :)
