Let's you work the legs and the back on consecutive days

Would it be OK to do deadlifts each day ? or is it too much ?

i do SLDL's on leg day after deads the previous day.

don't seem to be making progress with the SLDL's though. I think it might be too much

i've been working on getting my work volume as high as i can... even with this hyperactive horny teenage body coupled with all the right recovery techniques i have found to work ie; stretching multiple times a day, heat packs, massages, hot showers, and eating shitloads of food even on off days, i seem to be stuck at:

benching once every 3 days, deadlifting once every 5 days, and squatting 3 times a week (mon, wed, fri).

i squat heavy too, i just don't know why i don't seem to respond to the exercise as before. still get a little soreness, but not really. even the day after i smashed my squat pr, i was good to go the next morning.

i say nay to the DL consecutive days though, as it is a little bit too taxing, and i try not to work my back when it's still recovering, as that may lead to an injury in a place that can't afford to be injured. ie; your form might just be a little too off.

not a good idea... 3 days at least bet deadlifting days. Do squats for your legs instead :)

Wow.

That looks like how I worked out in high school except I benched every other day and did nothing else. I plateaued in both size and strength gains quickly. You need to knock down the frequency of hitting muscle groups. There's no need to squat three times a week to grow.

Deadlifting back to back? Hell no. Two times a week at most, I'd say. What do I know, though? A lot of other people are ahead of me in the game.

ThanX wnt2bbeast and bran! I cant really see deadlifting two days in a row, not the way I hit it. Even if I went lighter, itd make me wonder why I didnt just do everything the first time around. Now, I could see deadlifting twice a week for some purposes. Maybe a light speed day and a heavy day. But for me, this would be overkill. I always go very heavy and very hard. My back and deadlift routines are always over 5 hours long as you can see in my journal. So Im pretty torn up when I get out. Also the DOMS would kick in by the next deadlift session most likely and effect the other session in a negative way. I know when my lower back is pretty sore it has a negative effect on my deadlift days.
