Disagreement about GH`s effect on injury,do you have an opinion?..

as per my surgeon who just repaired my rupture of my pectoral major: tendons are the closest thing to dead tissue in your body...they have very little blood flow within them and thus very little nutrients are delivered to them to help them heal...that is why tendon/ligament injuries take so long to heal...the only thing you can do to help the healing of ligaments is make sure proper circulation to the area injured and rest

Not to get off the subject here but these are the kind of things that piss me off about modern medicine. Your doc in the same breath says circulation and rest. Rest does NOT promote circulation, activity does. The reason connective tissue doesnt heal is because most doctors inhibit healing and circulation but telling people to use ice and anti-inflamatories to get the swelling down, both of which take reduce or eliminate healing.

i questioned this and you are thinking off base a little bit zyg....by circulation he didnt mean excess circulation, massage and heat and movement will not help it heal much if any faster...he meant just while stabilizing it dont cut off circulation with whatever method of stabilization you are using....remember for a ruptured tendon to become fully healed it takes about 5 months....you are only icing for the first few hours really and then only here and there if swelling persists

Inflamation is a key element in the cascade of healing events that occurs, this is tought to med students but they somehow forget this once they get a diploma. excessive swelling in generally only a concern in cases where we are dealing with fluid in the lungs, allergic reactions etc. Ice constricts capilaries and greatly reduces blood flow. It also stiffens the connective tissue. Sure, inflamation is painfull, but so is getting a bone reborken if it sets wrong, that doesn mean we should try and avoid it.

First off, I don't think you NEED GH to help heal injuries... active recovery, use of heat, etc is the best way, IMO to get things working...

I've tried it out, and I did notice a strengthening of my shoulder... less pain, etc. My back also felt better after only one Sereno Kit. I would love to get back on the stuff.
