So what, isn't it nothing more than a giant paid programming channel with the occasional game or event?

Yes. Most of the stuff on there is crap. I wonder if Dana will get rid of WEC and just have them join the roster in the UFC.
I had Direct TV and they sold the area contract to SKY, damn I hate them 
you oay twice as much for less channels than cabel.... but they are my only option.... it's satellite or nothing.... they also have their headquarter and call center in Mexico, I barely understand those little fuckers...

What will suck is when there is only one provider for cable. Will all have to pay up the ass because we will not have any other choice.

+1 same in my area, I live in a highly wooded mountain area so no cable company comes here, only satelite does and the reception is bad most of the time

I have literally no other option but to have a dish, no other service comes here, I'm in a wooded area and the last light pole is like 3 blocks away because it's not a main street it's a man made street :s

Digital cable is alright. Direct chargers a lot. People in the woods(Hell no) are fucked and have no other choice. LA CITY LIGHTS 4 LIFE!!!

lol I used to live in the boondocks and dish was my only option too. And that was way back when the dishes were $5000 and the size of a small automobile.
