V view New member Aug 29, 2004 #3 Yup. Also, my gym has a v-dipping station (some don't) -- on it using a wider grip emphasizes chest more, and narrow grip tris more. I like to have my training partner hold my feet back when I do them for chest.

Dave949 New member Aug 30, 2004 #6 Elbows flared / pointing outward will put more emphasis on your pecs. Keeping elbows close to your sides and pointing behind you will put more emphasis on your tri`s.
