Yeah, I got some free samples of odorless/scent remover body soap with a bottle of odorless/scent remover laundry detergent I got last summer. I haven't tried either yet, as I don't think they'd do much good on campus or anything, lol, but I've read extensively on scent control. My thermals are scent-loc, so hopefully those will make a difference. I sure as hell can't afford those name-brand scent-loc pants, shirts or jackets that cost over $100 per article, so hopefully the layer closest to my skin will be a better investment. Fred Asbell's "The Ground Hunter's Bible" is one of the best books of it's kind, and I try to follow as much of that stuff as I can. Hell, that guy wears striped flannel shirts hunting, lol, so camo can't be too big a deal.
I draw the line at baiting and animal urine, though, lol. Well, unless it was bear hunting, then I suppose you'd have to bait or buy dogs. There's a certain exhilaration and romance from hunting... I think that appeal would slighted with the integration of deer urine to one's box of tools.
Those squirrels better be impressed by my lack of scent and prestigious camo patterns next fall. Maybe they'll be so impressed that they'll stand still so I can get a shot from 10 yards, too.
