can anyone elaborate the main differences between using these? I mean I know some exercises, like for example, a one-arm snatch, dumbbells is just straight up but with a kettlebell you use a "punching" motion. I like kettlebells, but they are so damn expensive, and whatever lifts you can do with those you can do them with a dumbbell. I thought about making some kettlebells using pipes and 5-10lb. weights, but I figure, what's the point when I can just slide a certain amount of weight on a DB bar and lock both sides with the clips, and do the same thing?
