Dieting while on Gear? Need Advice

Grainger

New member
This is my first time dieting on gear and I am stuggling a little bit mentally. I guess I am use to blowing up when I go on and now I have been on for almost 4 weeks and have not gained any weight.

EQ 600
Test 600
dbol 30 mg ed
Arimidex .5 mg ed
GH 4 iu ed

I also front load the EQ for the first 2 weeks at 1000.

I do look a lot harder and the veins....hahha....in my abs calves etc! but I am not getting bigger! I am eating 300+ grams of protein per day 150 - 200 from food. I do cardio 3-4 times per week. I train all out! (I am 5'5 171 at 7%)

I am going to try bumping up my protein to see if that helps....I already eat a pound of beef or chicken every day. Carbs are very low (less that 100 per day) I do flax seed oil and almonds for fat. Maybe some cheese on my eggs.

Anyone have any suggestions about what I can do to improve? I really wanted to be lean this summer but I don't like looking small!

I appreciate any input.

You're not going to get any bigger if you're cutting. You should actually be loosing weight. That would indicate your body fat is decreasing, provided you're not loosing muscle mass...which is the sole purpose of AS while dieting. AS prevent muscle catabolism while dieting...they don't promote muscle growth unless you have a surplus of calories in which case you wouldn't be buring bodyfat. Sounds like you need to decide what youor goals are fro this cycle. Do you want to cut? If so accept the fact that you're going to get smaller. Do you want to bulk? If so accept the fact you aren't going to get any leaner. Dedicate youorself to one. Upping your protein won't promote muscle growth while in a hypocaloric state. It will be converted to glucose via glucogenesis. Use the gear to prevent muscle atrophy and keep you fat burning metabilsm stoked while dieting ...Don't expect it to be packing muscle on your frame in this environment however.

Your right....

You hit it on the head! Thanks a lot for taking the time to respond, I really appreciate it. I just wonder how much weight I would have lost if I wasn't taking gear and dieting...I never really tried that before so I can't tell how much the gear is helping. At times I almost feel like I am wasting it.

I am going to stick with the diet, cardio and NYC / Yohimburn. Thanks again....sometime you just gotta hear it from someone else to know that your on the right track.

hey bro, don't worry about the weight. I'm your height and actually seem to look "biggest" when i am not at my heaviest bodyweight. Just remember that Lee Labrada competed at a bodyweight of around 180, yet he looked huge.

actually

I disagree. It is very possible to put on muscle and drop fat when dieting. If you start at 175 and end up at 171 and have lost 10lbs of bodyfat you have put on some muscle to. I dont think you can gain 20lbs of lbm when cutting but 8-10 lbs while dropping your fat should be very possible if you are under your potential for muscular mass.
Tren has been known to put on mass in diets below maintanance. Right now I am about 12 days in on my cycle, waist down an inch, arms up 1/4 and a leaner look, and I am the same weight as when I started. I do no cardio whatsoever, my body better use the energy from my fat stores to support turning that extra 100grams of protein into muscle(100 grams of protein are in a lb of muscle), and it seems that is just what it is doing. Anabolics switch you into that kind of mode, building muscle and burning fat. I think if I threw cardio in it would hurt more than help, I don't believe it is needed until you need to get below 7%.

Its really weird to be the same weight but change your appearance almost dailly, now a vein here, now a vein there, pretty soon it will be a dam vein EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!! I imagine if I did cardio I would drop fat alot quicker but kiss alot of gains in LBM goodbye, although I would have no trouble maintaining my current LBM, I just wouldn't gain much.
