Developing Abs

I know this doesnt belong in this forum, but I have seen a post earlier here on some really good Ab programs, including what Stalone did before a movie.

I cant seem to find them, and I've tried a bunch of different search terms I think they could be to get to it. If anyone has a link or can repost me some info, it would be appreciated.

I have a really good physique, but only thing lacking is my abs right now. Im looking to find an intense program to develop them.

Thanks

I workout abs twice a week, and do 30 crunches, 30 leg ins, 30 bicycles and repeat that 1 time without my feet ever touching the ground. Doesn't take 2 minutes :) But if you are wanting to get your abs to show through, that all diet baby :)

You can do all the "intense programs" you want but if you don't lower your body fat than you will never have good abs that everyone can see!! Listen to BrickGirl, its all DIET bro!!! Keep working your abs out (try Brickgirls ab workout!) but get on a good diet to lower your bf!!!

probably the easiest muscle group to develop once you get the form right which may take a very long time!

its a very limited range of motion.

now that i know how to properly work my abs i cant work them more than once a week as they simply grow like a fuckin wild weed.

I learned from experience as a gymnast that the best exercises that isolated your abs required absolutely no motion. I built rock solid abs doing different holds stressing the abs on the rings and pommel horse. Crunches take way too many reps to get the same stress and usually tire my back out first. When you start moving things around you bring in a ton of different muscles and take the stress off your abs. This is not to say that all these different exercises won't work your abs, but there are so many more efficient ways to target your abs than just crunches and leg raises. With all this said I still do weighted crunches and leg raises once a week in addition to other ab work.

Anyway, BrickGirl already stated the main point in seeing that 6 pack: DIET!

Actually I do diet very well right now, I have a low body fat, and i have a pretty good physique, but I just dont have any definition on my abs.

Doing Abs every other day for.. say 15 minutes before doing cardio (resting no longer then 15 seconds between sets) would be a bad idea?

Moving this to the training forum... you'll get better repsonses there... :)
