deep squats

Learn proper form when squatting. Make sure you drive through your heels at the bottom of the movement. Try to work on flexibility so you have no trouble "sitting back". Your knees can go over your toes, but it is usually avoided. Try using a shoulder-width stance with your toes pointing forward.

Also, as you ascend, make sure you don't let your knees "cave in". Rather, push through your heels and push your knees outward. Do not flare them, but the force should be aimed out.

this is good advice for someone with a shoulder width stance when squatting. if you go with more of a PL style squat, you want to push down and out on the ascend. the common term is "spread the floor."

yep driving through the heels will only cause you to raise the glutes first and put you in a semi goodmorning position..prolly not the best place to be unless you have a very strong back
