Deca & the over 35 crowd

How many older guys use deca? Would like to add some to a test cycle but I am wondering if it is worth it. The main concern I have is its supressive nature. I know people disagree about the extent of this , but being in my late 30's I am not sure I want to take the chance. Also you can't take finasteride while on it. What have been some older bros exp with deca?

Love the stuff I am very lucky with the fact i dont get the sides (well at high doses I do) but at 600mg right now a week NONE no sides at all but in past cycles of say 800mg-1000mg MANY SIDES but nothing HCG wont fix a few times a week .... great for water in the joints... among many other things ,,, I'd say you can benifit from the deca

13 weeks out of 15 week run than start the next 21 week run with EQ 800mg a week

I like long cycles, eg 14 to 18 weeks,

only had one bad experience, deca dick. But finally recovered.

Current cycle is just test e, for 12 weeks, maybe 14 we will see.

not over 35 but real close.ran deca several times with no problems at high doses.

I am 40 and started using deca at 37. I don't get crazy gains from it but it does make my knees and shoulders pain free even with heavy workouts.

I've used dosages as high as 600mg/week but currently keep it around 200-250mg/week just for the joint relief. That dosage is enough to provide that benefit witouth any major sides.

I have always liked it, but does make me retain water. Even had it through a doctor years ago. It is supressive if taken alone but can be minimized with test. Good for joints also. I'd say go for it.

IMO: It is good to use during your heavy offseason cycle if in bodybuilding. I get some bloat and fat gain during a 8-12 cycle but my joints feel great on this compound. It is slightly suppressive for me but I always recover because I only use it once a year at most. Use a sound recovery plan and you should be OK. Everyone is different but 200 to 600 mg per week works for most individuals.

I'm 48...I run deca just for the joints.....I'm actually tapering off the deca and I'm going to add tren....I want to see how my elbows feel before making that decision..

Here's my cycle:test cyp 750,eq cyp 600,deca was 400 now 200 and 50 mgs of dbol with only 1 nolva....so far its a pretty good 1st half of the cycle....14-16 weeks

Deca is good for you. It is the opinion of a couple of hair doctors that you can use finasteride with it because it converts to DHN. I use finasteride with it with no problem. It's a wonderful joint medication. I can't imagine life without it anymore.

I stacked Primo with my last test cycle (45 y/o) and got totally ripped. Primo is similar to deca, just a little gentler. We old farts need to be more careful.
