Deca Durabolin- 1st cycle PLEASE HELP!

Hey guys. I am very new to this site as I justed registered. I have some general quiestoins about Deca Durabolin as I have been thinking about my first cycle for about 6 months now. I am unsure about a few things and hofully you guys could help me out! I was thinking about just running the Deca alone, but then seen it can cause testosterone problems and shut the body down, so what else would I run with it. A lot of people say test but idk what test is or what a good kind would be. I am very cut as it is now and have a good body im just kind of on the moderate skinny side, my arms are 15 inches I would like to be able to add mass to my arms and chest while still keeping my 6 pack, while looking cut. To a skinny person im big but to a big person im skinny/little. Ik its confusing but ty for the help. My body stats are as follows:

Im 24
Ive been training for about 3 years religiously
I work out 3-4 times per week
Idk my body fat %.

I also don’t know how much to take, how often do I inject and for how long.. Ty in advance guys!!
 
defs take some time to look on here first, deca alone=deca d**k, for first cycle id run test alone IMO this will give you amazing gains, but defs seems like you need more research to be done like I said stick around a few months read some thread, the one stevesmi posted is great btw :), then you should feel good and safe about running the cycle, or maybe just stick to PH's for your first cycle still need research tho.

Your gonna run just deca!!!!!

We'll help but you gotta do some research on ur own son and am talking like 2-3 years worth research what you need

If not then your looking for us to spoon feed you info instead of you doing any amount of research on your own or trying to make any effort whatsoever. You sound like a skinny guy looking for a summer muscle fix.
I would bet your diet and training are seriously lacking...meaning even if you did said cycle of anything you would get dick for results because your not doing anything else right to support it.

If your as religiously into it as you say you are then post up a sample diet and what your workout split looks like. Hell a pic would tell us all we need to know.
If you do these things and have your shit together even somewhat then ill be the first to step up and say I was wrong. But I doubt I am.
You sound like the guys that I have seen in my gym for the last 3 years that have not changed appearance at all in that time.

Questions like how much to take? How long? What is test? <<<this shows extreme ignorance and lack of motivation to even try and educate yourself. Your probably mad by now but thats ok. Failing to try and even learn the absolute bare basics on your own is a good way to get some answers full of attitude from people like me and others in a place that can and is willing to be very helpful.
So if you havnt stomped off by now....get your shit together and educate yourself.
 
My friend read the thread at the top of the forum called "taking steroids 101" first. Read That thread from front to back twice. Then come back to this thread with anymore questions you have after reading that
 
you need to do way more research. you need to know this stuff inside and out upside down and sideways before you start injecting chemicals into yourself. read the steriods 101 several times over. It was created for people like you and for instances like this where someone is about to inject themself and they dont know what the hell they are doing. always run test with deca or you will get nasty erectile dysfunction, and very watery weight. be prepared to spend some money on not only the drugs but pct aswell.
 
Hey thanks fo the feed back guys! I did read the steriods 101, and the only reason why i was thnking deca was bc i heard it was a mild cycle. It has nothing to do with getting big for the summer bc hae a nice bodyt as it is!! I just want to get bigger, my curent diet is 2800 calories a day over 200 grams of protein a day... n i put up a pic any other questions plz ask.... ty again
 
^^ it is true that deca is mild with the side effects. but your 'friend' failed to tell you it also will raise estrogen, prolactin, and has a long stubborn ester, hence its a bad choice for a newb. tell your friend what i just wrote and ask him to explain to you what each means, then get back to me when he gives you an "i dunno" look. some friend.
 
You thought about it your first cycle for 6 months but in that time you didn't do any research?? Man test is like the first thing ppl look into. That and dbol.

Right now nothing.....If you wanna get bigger as stated you 1st need to increase from 2800 calories/day

test aromatizes as well. there is a lot of myths out there about test, yes test will shut you down, yes test aromatizes
 
Deca is a special compound to me. I did it for my first cycle at 50mg/ week and saw fantastic results. My first cycle was like 6 weeks. Some folks say that the long esters should be run for longer. It's true Deca take a little longer than a shorter estered anabolic for you to start seeing results, but it will continue to be in your system for a while after you stop too, so that logic works both ways. I ran my cycle for 5 or 6 weeks (can't remember now) but I gained somewhere in between 15-20 lbs. Yes, it came close to shutting me down too. If you have your heart set on Deca, go with the shorter ester NPP. I'd go with low doses. I think a lot of folks believe that high dosages need to be run on most things, but I think if you did 150 mg of Deca or NPP per week, you'll get good results, sides will be low, and your recovery will go smoother.

actually it doesn't work both ways.

the esters have to build up in your body to peak levels which will be around week 5. then once you stop injecting the esters drop back away. so essentially you only saw peak levels for a week which is sort of a waste. read my half lives thread i put up a week or two ago

Yes, NPP goes well with test, but you still need to do more research. NPP requires other precautions to control prolactin gyno issues by using Caber or Prami.


If and when you are ready to cycle, you should still consider test solo as your first option. Most people make great gains from it the first time.

What is an example of your diet and training. We really need to make sure you know how to put on muscle naturally before giving you cycle recommendations bud
 
This is really a good place had to say I read through plenty of good advice there mate! More then enough to help you research further and this I would do as well - get it right the first time so it benefits you wholly!

I saw a "Test Free" cycle on another site. They cycled (either Deca or NPP) and proviron. The theory is that the proviron, being an androgen, counteracts the sex drive drop that you could get from the Deca. You could start the proviron in week 2 or 3, as your endogenous test levels start to become suppressed .

I know a lot of folks here think that you have to cycle w ith Test, and I respect their opinion because that's probably what works for them, but I have had pretty good test free cycles. That's just what works for me.

I think that's part of the fun of running cycles, finding one that works well for you. Just make sure to do some more research. You want to go in to it, knowing what to expect, and then knowing how to deal with any problems you might have.

My diet has been getting better.little by little. I eat about 6 times a day yesterday.i.had a grilled.chocolate.chip.muffin n a tea for brkfast, then had a protein shake, then I went to the..gym n did chest/tries, n abs. Immediately after I took a protein shot. After that.I had lunch which was chicken, whole grain brown rice n peas all mixed together so..good! But after that i.have another shake n then dinner i.had steak, baked potato n broc. All my meals r with water I don't drink sugars, Juice bc idw to.get a fat.belly.. B4 I goto bed I have cereal EVERY NIGHT ik not..good but I can't.help.it

So i see 2 real meals in here.....??? The rest is crap. I assume you mean those little protein shot tubes post work out? Bro, thats not pwo nutrition.

Just as an example.....you are trying to gain.....I am trying to cut. So i am in a 500-700 calorie deficit. Even so my breakfast is a scoop of whey/cup of almond milk/liquid egg whites in a shake. Apx 70g protein. Then a slice of whole grain toast with almond butter with it. So breakfast totals apx 75 g pro, 25g carbs, 480 cals. Then i eat 5 more times. One more of the same shake pwo, then 4 meals with 10oz chicken and .5 cup of oats each.
And im STILL not even at maintinence cals
 
Yeah its hard to always eat perfect.as I work a 9-5 in an office so I can't always sit n stuff my face that's where the..protein shakes come in handy bc i.can drink.them at my desk rather.then eating. But im going shopping tonight.im gna pick up some more essential.foods.

This is never an excuse...I work in an office too, so do a lot of people, sometimes I'm there 10-12 hours a day...

This is a diet in need of fixing, you can make some good gains once your diet is in order...

I don't, I eat a soild meal every 2.5-3 hours....

For example here's a typical day:

4:45 am egg whites (3-1 ratio white to yolk) and plain oatmeal
Train
Post workout shake (water, protein powder, oatmeal)
1 hour later (at the office by now) chicken & spinach
Repeat that meal

On a rotating basis I alternate the vegetable with starch, sometimes combine all 3

A few times a week I cook enough food for 2-3 days, bring it to the office and microwave a serving as needed

OK omg. I work as NURSE I work two jobs. I work 12.5 hours 4-6 days a week. AND I still get to the gym 4-6 days a week. AND I still eat 3500-4400 calories (sometimes more per day)

for example today. Got off work at 730am. Protein shake and 2 slices wheat bread. 915: 2 cups oatmeal, 6 whole eggs, apple. sleep! woke up at 2pm had 1 cup chocolate soymilk, 230 1 cup egg whites, 1 cup plain cheerios with splenda, two slices flax and wheat toast with 1tbsp of strawberry rhubarb jam. 33pm Workout, 430pm protein drink 32oz gatorade G2. 530 home made weight gainer shake, 7 4 baby back ribs and 1 chicken breast with a sweet potato, 930 2 chicken legs and a sweet potato, 1130 chickn breast with mixed veggies, CURRENTLY AS I TYPE THIS 6 oz chicken with sweet potato and green beans. AND IM AT WORK! There is a way around everything

Yeah i guess there is no excuse.for that i can only get to the gym 3 maybe 4 times per week if i am lucky as i am a single father. Me n my little guy went shopping last night n i picked up oatmeal, steak, chicken, peas, broc, protein bars/powder, water, eggs, baked.potatoes, whole grain brown rice.. N then i got pizza oreos cheese.its, juicy.juice n much more for my little guy. I do my best that's for sure but b4 i even think about running any cycles i am.going to increase my food intake and go from there. Im okay with my body i just want a cple more inches on my arms as they are only 15 inches n fillout Mg chest more.. But i appreciate.all the help from every1 defiantly helped me out a lot!
