so thanks to all of those who have given me words of support.

Have you ever used a shrug bar to DL? (The diamond shaped one) If so, do you think it's easier? If not, try it and let me know what you think. I love it and feel I get better tech. out of it. I will be trying for 550 lbs. or so soon. Do you think it's still legit or just crap?

yeah, that is actually Bull that you see in the background. in his day, he was pulling 800 for a triple at 242. i think his best ever was an 875. its nice to lift with him at his gym, b/c i get a ton of advice from him.

thanks bro. I am going to be training my squat (i alternate squat and deadlift) for the next 2 or 3 weeks. next week, i think i'm just going to go for a max with just my groove briefs, and about 80lbs of chain. then max out on the squat with my suit the following 2 weeks. i'm hoping that maybe I can push my squat into the 700's. but won't know until i try.

after the 600, i acutally made a jump to 625 and failed. here's the video of that lift:

sorry, I've never used the diamond shaped shrug bar. so I can't really comment on it. i think that I've only seen the bar in one gym that i have been at.

i dont know if you get this before you go to the gym or not, but good luck deadlifting today. here is how i think you should do your sets:

275, 315, 365, 405, 455 all x 1
then 500 x ?

i would do it that way so that you dont waste as much energy.

This is w/ no suit, correct FFQuads?
 
Good 600 lift. Your 625 looks like me with 500. Hopefully I will nail 500 and then some this go round. These vids keep me motivated.

sorry, I missed your question earlier.

believe it or not, here is what my food intake consist of: cheap $4 Tony's Pizza's, Jack-N-The-Box, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Skillet Sensations (some frozen meal that I get at the grocery store) Thai Food (I get the sweet and sour chicken and get it super spicy) Peanut Butter Cup Blizzards from DQ, about a 12pack of Mt. Dew or Coke a day, Mac and Cheese, Ramen Noodles, Fried Egg Breakfast Sandwiches, Bacon, Toast and Jelly, Chocolate Milk. (seriously, this is what i typically eat during the week)

As you can see, my diet is pretty clean. No that isn't all in one day, its just a summary of what types of food I might eat during the week.
