i think lowering the volume is helping. i dont' feel beat up at all tonight. i have lowered volume on gym lift days. doing some hard ab workouts this week too. i personally think i can pull alot more than 460 very soon, RAW. :) the 400 was not that hard.
i think i will do deads with bands occasionally to help with lockout, i feel very strong off floor. but the middle part is what is hard??? any ideas guys?
 
Tonight I did speed pulls with 320 and 2 sets of mini bands...made the lockout HARD for sure. Well...from about knee up was 'exciting'...lol.

Yeah...keep lowering the volume...do ONLY what is necessary. You don't have to increase the volume for a few months anyway.

Awesome PR Brian!! Must be tough pulling off a 5 inch platform!! Never tried those! I get a good enough challenge gunning for 600 off the floor conventional style. Keep up the PR's bro! Freaky strength!
 
The funny thing about that is tonight was the first time I have ever done deadlifts off a 5" platform. I liked them. Anyways, good job on everything.
