carbs are NOT bad for you. They are your body's primary source of fuel. Carbohydrates are not really the issue that has caused the demonization of carbohydrates, its insulin sensitivity.

while not going into that, thermorexin will enhance blood glucose clearance.. meaning that more carbs will not be stored as fat (what occurs if insulin sensitivity is poor and high BG leads to high insulin production).

as a note- the most important thing with respect to fat loss is total calorie intake and calorie expenditure, unless you have insulin sensitivity issues (in which case you should be taking glucorell), you will lose the same or more fat with a moderate-high carb, moderate-high protein and low fat diet as you would with a "keto" or low carb diet.

Hmm. Makes sense. Im taking in about 1000 calories a day right now. Im burning about 4000. See, this whole time i thought my body burnt the carbohydrates that i had in me, then its next primary source of fuel would be stored fat. But what your telling me is that basically is not completely true. As long as my calories stay lower then what i am burning, then i will lose weight even if i am taking in carbs?

that is too great a deficit, unless you are extremely obese. if not you will lose significant muscle mass.

it would be quite difficult to have the energy to use 4000 cals on a 1000 cal diet (especially one that was low card), perhaps you have over estimated calorie use or under estimated calorie intake?? or are just beginning your diet?

or you meet the extremely high body fat condition (where it would be quite feasible)

it is quite possible to run a 3000 cal deficit per day, under some of the above mentioned conditions and/or at the risk of significant muscle mass loss.

Wow, well anyways that is what fitday.com is telling me. I took all ur advice. I am upping my calorie intake. Also, i am taking to protien shakes a day to help in that area. Its just i am having a really hard time finding out what to eat. I try to research and just get confused. For example here is what i was eating.

Wake up: NO-Xplode.

Gym: 30 min cardio/lifting

eat- Apple and 4 eggs.. say 130pm. (i wake up late because i work nights)

330pm. 2 cups of beef stew with potatoes, carrots, green beans...

7pm. 2 chicken breasts in a vegetable medley stir fry.

Lots of water all day.

The funny thing is, now that im used to eating like this, 4 eggs and an apple makes me full.

So ive added 2 protien shakes to the mix now per day. And im gonna try to eat oatmeal or wheat pasta once a day to add to the carbs since ill be taking trex and sesamax come wednesday.

your first meal has a decent amount of protein- those are whole eggs thats about 300-400 cals (depending on size of eggs plus 40-80 cals for the apple)- its not surprising that it might make you feel full.

your second meal unless it has significant amounts of beef in the stew may be quite light on protein (cals?? really depends on the ingredients)
