Dang it!!!!!

If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

So, casualties this week include: my camera, my flat iron, and now...drumroll please...
HALF OF DEVIN'S FALL AND WINTER WARDROBE.

There was an ink pen in the dryer! I think Devin must have put it in there. He likes putting things in and taking things out of all the drawers and cabinets now. Anyway, the entire inside of the dryer is COVERED in blue ink. An entire very large load of all Gymboree and boutique label clothing is COVERED in blue ink.

:bawling:

I'm supposed to be moving December 1.

What's the big deal? It's not like he's styling and profiling and hampered by the blue ink. Just have him wear the clothes.

That is the exact response i got from the ladies at daycare. They said, "It's just daycare. He's playing and getting dirty anyway."

UGH. I really like dressing him cute though.

not a landlord. I'm buying a little house.

Yeah, he still has plenty of other clothes even. He had an obscene amount of clothing anyway. It's just disappointing to see all this money go up in smoke this week...lol.

ok gotcha... be positive atleast it was only half his clothes and not everything!!! be optimistic! he wont even fit int hem in a few months anyway! :)

fwiw, the ink inside the dryer, once dry, won't bleed onto any more clothes. A few years ago I had a roommate do this and I threw some white stuff that I didn't care about in there afterward to test it out because no matter how hard I scrubbed, the ink wasn't coming clean, and everything came out still white.

that is really good to know. I was worried about that. I was thinking i would go in there with a magic eraser and some OUT. I'm afraid whatever I use to try to clean it will end up bleaching the next load. If it will just dry up, that would be great.

hairspray gets out ink.

spray it on, wash it.

I would still try to clean it - try lleto's trick. But whatever you cant clean wont end up on your clothes.

Even if the ink was dried into the clothes in the clothes dryer, you think?

I think so, yes.
i don't know what it is that works- could be alcohol because that's what I use to get off sharpie marker off of glass.

Try alcohol first.
Pour a little bit on and rinse quickly. might work for small spots.

I will try it and if that fails go buy some cheap hairspray. I dont wear hairspray, so I don't have any at home.

Hey Snackles, lol, I just wanted to say hi and I'm glad you got your status back, which you always had with me Queen.
I'll talk to ya later today.

Ummmm, does that mean its expensive clothing? Uhhh, cuz newsflash...as he gets older, he will destroy all of his future clothing with stains....food, mud, grass, etc etc

Well, yeah, it wasn't wal mart stuff. I try to rub in shout whenever he gets his clothing dirty. It works pretty well. I've had 2 people now tell me to hit all the clothing with hair spray so I'm going to try that.

damn that does suck heather.

i only buy my kids clothes at target or walmart. they either ruin it or grow out of it so damn fast. but you know when people buy gifts for the kids, the clothing is usually name brand.

for the boys sake, seriously heather, for the boys sake.........try to rid yourself of that by the time he hits grade school. He's a boy, he doesn't need to look "cute" when he's flying around the playground. Nobody get's brutalized harder than the kids who look like mommy dressed them. I know it'll be hard, but do try...lol.

you don't want to be zipping up a 15 year old pants and tying his shoes before he heads out to "high school".....do you? :lmao:
