They've been heavily promoting the 30th Anniversary DVD of Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, which is coming out in 2 weeks.
It was supposed to have both a full screen transfer, and also the original theatrical aspect ration of 1.85:1, anamorphically enhanced. THEY HAVE PULLED THE WIDESCREEN TRANSFER OFF THE DISC!!!
This really sucks. Even last week they were saying it would have both transfers. Review copies showed up in peoples hands yesterday, and it's pan & scan only.
DO NOT BUY THIS DISC!!!
