It's sad that I'm at the age where I have to worry about chicks going and getting married. Now, we all know it's easier to take a chick down when she is engaged / married, but I don't want to go that route with her.

Please explain this concept of *taking down* and the desirability of such a circumstance.

lol, nah some other chick. I knew it was coming, her BF took her to the Bahamas (seriously, how boring and common is it to take your girl away on vaca and propose?), so I knew that was it. Not a big deal, but it's just crazy that I'm now at the marriage age.

Ummm trashy hoes are trashy hoes whether they are married, engaged or single. So what is the allure there?

just askin.

The second I found out or even suspected a dude had a gf/engaged or wife I was IMMEDIATELY turned off.

Why would the fact that a woman is *supposed to have chosen another man* make her more appealing in the eyes of a single unencumbered male?

Yep. She even told me she knew she was settling. But that's the world we live in - it's better to be miserable and with someone than alone and have to face yourself.

Am I the only female that doesn't understand the male fascination with girls that are supposed to be with another guy?

I am not talking shit. I truly want to understand this line of thinking.

Funny, my exhusband used to tell me that he would purposely pursue these types so that he could *degrade them* (Yea and I didnt get a clue. He would only degrade these trashy females.... but NEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVER good girl me  - talk about being dumb and naive). He never respected ANY WOMEN because he didn't respect his own mother for not having the balls to leave their abusive alcoholic father. <--- his words, not mine.

My husband also never pursued a woman who was supposed to be with another man. So please explain the fascination. It seems to make no sense.

Why would a man purposely pursue low qualilty women then come up with the theorem that MOST women are low quality?

I'll probably read what BM said, then get into a ridiculous argument with her about absolutely nothing where everyone is wrong except her.

:)

Dude - I am trying to understand this strange point of view.

I haven't degraded, name-called or cheap-shotted anyone.

Pregnant Women are the best KB for so many reasons.
Boobs are bigger, they are super horny with all the stuff going on down there.
Mostly due to being able to hit it bareback, since you won't knock her up..

This, fine sir, has bene duly noted.

I wish the stones of my thoughts and dreams were hard and colored, so I can dip my sifter into the stream. Rich reflections are sometimes revealed despite the muddy disguise, which I send back to the unconscious. I lift and inspect each marvel, often fooled by wrong gold. Yet there are many streams from which we can sift, many stones that look like gold. What I enjoy most is watching the beavers and rats and tiny fish weave in and out of my world, scurrying into their dens, shelters, puddles. It's really their world.

Looking up, I inhale hearty wafts of grass-scented air. Uncut and growing wildly, it bends with the wind, revealing pale waves of green that extend over hills, fallen trees, and around bushes.

My hand finds the chain around my check and I lightly grasp it with my index and thumb. A simple beaded pull-chain with a Coke can cap dangling from the bottom. I blink slowly. It was the drink I had while my grandfather passed. A constant reminder of sacrifice and love and pride. Is it OK to lose your pride over someone you love? Absolutely. Is it OK to lose someone you love over your pride? No.

What do you say, fish? Do your thoughts flicker as fast as your lips pucker? Do ambitions drive me as does your tail for you? And you, rat. Sleek rodent of water, does the fish satisfy your hunger for life? I watch as you paw the silver shiner to your mouth, tearing off chunks of flesh. Wipe your face, there are scales all over it. Filthy little bastard.

FFFFUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

I hate that weak willed shit. It's bullshit that people would rather settle and be miserable in what's familiar and "comfortable" than take a chance on happiness. Damn I need to retire from society.

Did the thought ever occur to the gentlemen on the board that *perhaps* this wasn't what the young lady in question meant?... or that *perhaps* she was saying it to bolster KB's fragile ego?

I might be wrong too, I wasn't there and even if I was, everyone's perception is there own reality. <----- think on this.

If I had a dime for every time I tried to politely get some dude off of my cock without trying to hurt his feelings when he wouldn't take NO for answer just to have him go tell his buds, "Yea she wants me.... but", I could have been my Old Grump's Sugar Momma! :lmao:

I hear ya, Scots. It is what it is, people are very weak and worst of all, will not admit that weakness to themselves. So they will never be able to get past it.

That was my first thought too - not to bolster KB's ego but I doubt she would admit that she was settling if thats what she really thought. Maybe putting it out there that she was not 100% about the whole deal.

who says that if they are happy?

It is really amusing how men and women look at THE IDENTICAL situation and have such radically differing points of view.

Men are funny creatures. (And women can be fucking insane LOL)... I just have to shake my head at how many men are totally delusional when it comes down to which women they could REALLY *have*.

I can only imagine the self loathing and negativity I am missing out by my awesome ignore movement.

Anyway, it is what it is. Plenty of other fish in the sea. :)

His jaw must have dropped about a hundred yards
When we stole her daddy's big, bad car

I have no idea why she didn't turn down the proposal in the Bahamas and go out with the guy that calls her a "chickenhead" in order to sound cool on a chat board.

YAY!! Didn't see this one coming, lol.

Man, you guys are getting scary with the stalking. Not sure why you have to follow me around like this, even when you know you are on ignore

You don't think that's very desperate? Approval seeking perhaps?

I wasn't refering to KB's case as law. But I have known way to many people who would rather stay miserable than enact change. I'd also say that 90% of the people I have known to do this were female. I probably find it even more loathsome when a guy tries to stick out a terrible situation, since it is typically easier for men to break emotional attachments.

And how is it polite to lead someone on by saying that you're settling for someone else than dating them? That's actually about as cruel a thing as I can imagine. Or maybe I'm just so blatantly honest in life that I don't consider anything but a straight forward "I'm not interested" statement.

I also just can't grasp why people are so afraid to be alone for any lenth of time. I personally really enjoy it.

Jayzus man, can you come up with some new material? It was *interesting* the first 50 thousand times you Freuded that shit here, but it seems to have lost its luster due to overuse. I mean EVERY SINGLE POSTING SITUATION falls under that umbrella?

You know damned well that you dont have ANY of us on ignore.

Well, all I know is that she turned down a whole wardrobe of scrunchies and headbands she could have shared out of KB's closet, but, alas, she wasn't interested.

Oh yeah, and the women's jeans he's fond of trying on, too...lol.

Before KB responds, I'll beat him to it. Here is what KB always responds when someone disses him: "Oh, it is too bad, Heather, that you want my unsheathed beast so badly and can't have it because I'm not attracted to older women. Your self-loathing must be eating you up inside, Heather."

:lmao:

I guess that "pussy" actually "ran" away from KB's "unsheathed beast."

How could this be?

I don't know of very many females who realized they were settling (because they were too young to think more of themselves) at the time and I dont know of ANY that would say this to a guy over dinner that only wanted to fuck them if that woman allowed it other than to try to not bruise his delicate ego. I mean, YOU KNOW you aren't going to go to bed with the guy so why not make him *think* he had a chance if things were different (which they are NOT). It may not be 100% honest but there are many women who feel that to be THAT DIRECT, especially with a man who already knows you are into someone else but wont take no for an answer anyway (happened to me a few weeks before I married. I told the guy STRAIGHT UP - I am marrying the Old Grump but that didnt stop him from trying LMFAO and we are BIG TIME GROWN). Why not massage his ego a bit? If it gets him off your cock then what is the harm, right?

I agree, that settling just to avoid being alone isn't fair to either of the parties. That is why I waited so long and dated so many before I even *thought* to remarry.

And I was not the only woman to automatically assume this about the situation as the thread proved out.

...WE could be totally off, but then again so could the men. What difference does it make in the grand scheme of things? KB was rejected by yet another *chickenhead*.

Otherwise, we got along fine, before.

It's bad when someone besides the very dumbest of 17 year old girls would believe KB's delusions of grandeur. :lmao:
