The lawyer was a prick. Looking into peoples homes and complaining about what you see.

Reminds me of that guy in the 80's whose son got kidnapped and molested or something and the dad disguised himself and waited at one of the airport payphones as the suspect was led in handcuffs through the airport and then the dad put the phone down as they walked by and blew the suspects head off with a revolver or something. it should be an internet mpeg somewhere.

How will we ever know whether the original allegation is true?

One of the best stories was of a Greek guy.
It might even be on the net, because it was all caught on tv
Some rich guy got drunk and went driving, killed another mans son.
They went into court and the guy got off. I think there was some charge of collusion as well. Judge wwas bought off or something of that nature.
The father killed the guy who did it, the judge, and the defense lawyer with the bailiffs gun. Then I think he killed himself.

Keeping in mind I would have to be 110% sure that he was guilty. Court of law would be nice, but I'm flexable. I have thought about this a zillion times, having two daughters myself. I would at gun point, <I'm an excellent shot>, drive his ass out to the desert, make him dig a nice deep hole, cut off his balls..open wide..cram them down his throat, oh sorry you're gagging? Push him into the hole, alive of course, and bury him! Justice with no guilt! Morning headlines.."Man Missing"..shrugs
I also wonder under what circumstances this neighbor was left unsurpervised with the 2 y.o. child? Did he babysit? Did he allegedly get access to the child with or without the parents' permission? Typically, you dont leave a 2 y.o. out in the yard unattended so how did the molestation allegedly occur? Also, it says there was never any report of the alleged abuse. Howcome? How was the information communicated by the child to the mother? What are the verbal skills of the child and thei developmental level?

true, why had that guy gained access to the girl? if it was true.
If it happened to me I would inject the guy with LSD and then blowtorch him when he started tripping. but really.. just strangle that fucker. always wanted to rip someone apart between two cars though. read about that from a middle ages account of splitting a guy with horses. took hours as they walked them apart. they had to cut the guys groin muscles and armpits open to allow the joints to tear from the sockets.
I might go out tonight me thinks..

Yes I would. I would make sure he would nto ever touch anybody else again. but I would make sure it was done right and I would not be implicated with the murder.
Also, a quick kill would not satisfy me, before he passed, he would have spent a couple of days in an undisclosed location, just begging me to kill him. I would get mediaval on him.

He is a lawyer, so he should know that he could have gotten an emergency hearing to separate the child from her father and to protect the child.

Oh I misread the article (skimmed). I thought the kid was the molester's daughter. If she wasn't, I would report it and let the system take care of it.

If I hada kid and somebody hurt him/her, yeah I think I'd react violently. If I didn't have proof I'd probably call the cops and inform them of my accusation and that they might want to get there soon before I kill the guy. I'm guessing the dude knew who his neighbor was. I doubt there were two incidences and that was it.
I'd like to think a smart dude in law school wouldn't take one incidence of seeing the guy naked and heresy aof molestation and then flip out and murder the guy. My guess is something else went on that you aren't gonna get from the paper.
