Is this a good form of cardio, its alot less stress on the joints which I need, it requires more leg power than running and it is alot less boring than running. Should I be doing HIIT with cycling or could I just go at a high intesnity and slow down occasionally to recover? All opinions on cycling appreciated.
 
ride some hills and trails. that will have your hr up and burning fat in no time. i do it sometimes as an alternative to running, nice change of pace.
