cycling when over weight?

Just wondering, is there a certain bodyfat you want to have before starting? I've alway read ppl saying they wouldnt think about starting unless they're 10%-12%

:D

I would think it would depend on what your specific goal was. If you wanted to be a powerlifter then there would be no sense in waiting to get to any certain level. But most would recommend you get to a certain level for BB practicality just so a sense of discipline has been learned...Since once you actually get around to that first cycle you learn real quickly just how vital diet really is...

well im not a fat ass, id say around ~16%... ive used before so that's not really my point. Im just curious as to what others do.

I personally am trying to get my bf low as i can before anything.

So if im reading this correctly, the reason u believe this this is more logically than physically? Diet/eating habbits rather than physically being ready... a perrson can have a sub-10% bf without stepping into a gym...... ?!?!

thanks

Yeah, some guys are just lean no matter what...are they ready to cycle...not necessarily. I think for me I would say it is more vital to put in time in the gym learning training methods, getting your diet down correctly, before someone were to start cycling. But some guys hardly do anything and still look great, but most are not like that, that is why they turn to AS. I would say it is more about learning discipline before turning to AS, not so much reaching a specific bf% (as that is only part of the overall picture)

It's better to be lean before starting a cycle. 15% is about the max. BF I would bulk with, because I know that I can drop the fat easily after. If you have trouble losing fat...then maybe it's best to be in the 10-12% range. It's difficult to do a cycle and not gain some fat, I think it's a necessity. I would not like to feel as though I had to limit my intake of food on a cycle to prevent gaining fat.
