Cutting Pro's

To be sure of low sodium I will boil chicken breast in distilled water at this time and use no condiments containing salt.
Ausome idea!!!!!!!!! Excited about this one.
There is no way I will peak early. My love handles have love handles. Everything else is sick though. I wish those bastards would just disapear already!

OK-here we go-regarding the above post, you MUST follow that post---6-8 small meals (or meal replacement shakes/bars) egg whites, chicken, tuna, fish, turkey, vinison, lean red meats-----brown rice, potato, rice cakes, oatmeal, pickles, green veggies, mustard, pepper, etc..etc..---you need to eliminate as much fats, sugars as possible---except omega 3 fats--(flax seed, salmon, etc)

Why shouldn't you eat fat?

Why do you NEED 6-8 meals?

Unhealthy fats will, make you fat. By eating 6-8 meals your metabolism will stay at its highest throught the day therefore burning maximum calories.

Borg,
Your not boiling your chicken yet are you? Too early bro, don't sweat the handles, those are the last to go and they'll hang around until the last week. It's really not even fat that is where we all (us men) hold water. Once you start your diuertics the lower back and handles tighten right up.
Will b huge is right, Don't peak too early bro, you'll be amazed at the amount of water and sometimes muscle you lose over that last week (especially if you peak too early). Losing water good/ muscle bad.
My first contest I was 234lbs on Sunday before the contest. I stepped on stage at 210lb :( (I still won but holy shit I lost a lot of muscle) please don't make the same mistake. I basically peaked 3 weeks before the contest. Won't make that mistake again.
Right now I'm 245lbs( I lost 5lbs in a week I went from 4.9% to 4% even, so I lost about 2.5lbs of fat and 2lbs of muscle:( ) and I plan on actually gaining weight over the next week and then dialing in over that last week. I have a fast metabolism so I can drop a lot of fat in a short period of time. This shit is all a science, fucking crazy bro. :chomp:

Consuming more calories than you need will make you fat, doesn't matter what macronutrient they come from.

Studies have been done showing there is zero difference in fat loss between eating 3 meals vs. 6 or more, as long as calories are kept constant. Eating more meals just helps to control appetite.

I dont think this makes much sence though.Your saying that its the same to split 3000 calories in 3 1000 calories as to split it in 6 500 calorie meals?

Yes, that's what I'm saying. In both cases you are consuming 3000 calories, which may be under, at, or over maintenance, but in all cases, it's the same number.

Smaller meals lead to MORE metabolism boosts, while larger meals lead to LARGER metabolism boosts. Everything works out to be the same.

So, if your maintenance calories were 2000 and you consumed 2500 cals of ALL protein, you wouldn't get fat? Ok, buddy. I'll go get my clue now .

I swear, I said it in another thread too, Elite's a great board for discussing cycles and training, but when it comes to diet you can throw a dart and hit a more informative board than this. No one seems to know what they're talking about, and when some new information is presented responses like "you're an idiot" or "you have no idea what you're talking about" are quite common. No one is ever able to explain their position so insults come out.

Tell me, why can't you get fat from eating too much protein, or too many carbs? Each macronutrient is a source of energy, ie. calories. They perform different functions in the body, but when it comes to weight gain or loss, they're all just units of energy.

If you want to argue that dietary fat can be stored as fat MORE EASILY than carbs or protein, that's fine. But statements like "bad fat makes you fat" show a complete lack of knowledge.
