Curiosity out of newbie's head

I'm yet to start my first cycle, I'm curious about something, I can't find this as I research; when I train now and go heavy I'll be sore for 5 days or so. When you're on a cycle, is recovery so much faster to the point that you can work the same muscle again a couple of days later? That's a dumb question, but it's genuine.
Do you guys all work a same muscle groups 2 or 3 times a week?

I train each bodypart to absolute failure once per week.

RADAR

What Radar says is just about right although I do chest twice per week once with bands for lock outs.

probably would have the energy/drive, but do like radar, wait a week, so you can grow longer/rest proper.

We're another one of those train each muscle group hard once a week people. We've tried a number of different approaches over the years and are most comfortable with that. However, opinions on the subject do vary

If you are in this for the long haul, and we hope you are, than don't be afraid to experiment and find what works best for your body. You'll find that opinions are like buttholes, we all have one ! Unfortunately everyones body is different and we don't all respond the same way to training, diet or AAS. If you are one of those "fit for life" kinda guys than don't be afraid to think long term !

It's okay to take a few months or more trying a routine or diet or whatever and then gauging your response. Worst that could happen is that you would find out that it wasn't for you. You'd still be fit just not happy with the overall quality of the results. But, over the long haul you would, through trial and error, learn what works best for you. Thus maximizing your future gains !! Good Luck

I like to hit em 2x a week when on. Since the sauce provides greater recovery I don't see any reason to not take advantage of it.

dude there for a while i tryed doing chest and tris and back, sholders and bies everyother, but i found i was definatly over training now i just do a very intense workout to failure on each body part once per week ex. mon. legs, tue, chest, wed. bies, thur. tries. fri. back and shoulders, with alternating adbs and traps, with calfs every other day, those three muscles seem to be the only ones that respond well to working more than once per week. but like 2 lunatics said everyone is diffrent. trial and error bro,

Correct me if Im wrong but....Im going to guess you have been lifting for only a few weeks? Or perhaps have been on a long break from lifting? Even on a poor diet, if you have been training consistently, you should not be sore for 5 days. Personally, I have a difficult time getting very sore at all for even a day or two. Takes a tough burnout session or something similar to really kill me...
