Crying at work....

Can anyone explain why it is necessary to cry at work (other than someone you know dying)? Why do girls constantly cry at work? There is nothing wrong with crying, but when you do it at work it sends your credibility through the floor. I've been seeing way too much of this. Then these people wonder why they aren't taken seriously in their job. It shows complete inability to handle situations and problems.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

The guys here cry just as much as the chicks.

Fuckin dude in the office next to me is crying right now.

I totally agree with you! The only time I ever cried at work was when I worked for an animal hospital. The first time I had to assist during a euthanasia, this man brought in a really old chichauwa(don't even know how to spell that). The dog had to be put down and he didn't want to be in the room. It was just me, my boss(the doc) and the dog. I just started crying my eyes out. I felt so bad for the little guy that he had to die with strangers and not his dad with him. My boss was cool with it though!:)

PMS all over the board today! Guess I'll try to make the best of it and get in touch with my sensitive side

Did you read my post? I'm complaining about girls crying about stupid nonsense in the office. Most would say this is being insensitive... so why do you need to get in touch with your sensitive side?

We used to have a girl that would get into verbal knock down
drag out fights on the phone at work with her husband.

Very loud and entertaining on a slow day.
Very annoying when you are trying to meet with a customer.

Just working on my post count, mam.

Last time I saw someone cry at work was a little over a year ago when I got laid off from Worldcom, and our admin, who was one of the few people in the group that didn't get nailed, was crying seeing each of us get taken into the conference room to be bent over and have pink slips inserted into our bungholes.

Why don't you do somethign about it ? Go psycho on them and tell them all to shut the fuck up and/or do their crying shit in the restroom!
What good is it going to do to whine about it here on the internet board? Probably should have posted this in women's board!
Now go do something about it, otherwise you'll be miserable for as long as you work there!

It's all about the titties.
We're gonna pander to your post only for so long before giving up and going to look at other people's tits.

I'd cry too if I had to get up each morning and go to a job I absolutely hated.

CHeck out my avatar. That's as close as you are gonna get.

Your dad has big tits, you seem to take after him.

That is your dad in that pic right?

Many times have I seen people cry at work. It's always women. So many of them can't deal with life, that's why they try to marry a rich man.

LOL. Let's hope I don't work here long... I'm already miserable. My job is boring as shit, if I was busy I wouldn't be posting here all day. I was just curious how many people would say they have the same "crying" issues with people at their jobs. Guess I didn't word the question right... but I also wanted to see if anyone would try to say it wasn't bad to cry at work.

HE'S STILL FUCKING CRYING!!!!

And now the guy across has started.
What a bunch of pussies.

I do remember that this guy at work got his ass kicked by a woman that worked there also. That had been dating and it turned sour. She had been a bouncer. She attacked him by the elevators and beat the shit out of him. He was about 6'l" and 180. My manager said that as the guy was talking to the police, he started crying. Poor guy, he's probably scarred for life.

nobody cries here. we are very professional. tho I have been on the verge before.

I wish I worked somewhere that was more professional. On July 3, my stupid ass boss was running around looking for an American flag to burn... it's good I didn't see/hear this myself (I was out at a meeting), because I would probably have told him what a fucking piece of shit he is and then quit.

My co-worker is crying again today and it's only 9:49am... I'm glad I have headphones or I'd flip out. Let me explain that my office is completely open, no cubicles, no offices and she sits right across from me. The only closed rooms are bathrooms and conference room.

LB,

Why is she crying? Tell her to shut up, that it distracts and bothers you. I would.

Today it's the stress of her husband applying to residency programs and backpain (that she never goes to the Dr. for). Other days it's not thinking she's given enough respect in her job... as if crying at work will help this. I've tried telling her that she should absolutely stop the crying at work or she'll never get any respect, but it doesn't work. Normally, I'd tell her to shut up, but I think that would just cause more crying.

She over dramatizes everything and worries about little tiny things constantly. Every time she gets all upset about something it ends up working out... I think she just enjoys the drama.

Fondle her breasts. She'll stop if you do it properly.
