Holy shit what a mess.
Bro again...like steve....no insults intended. I was 21, 6 feet tall and also 165 when I did my first cycle. It was one of the stupidest things I ever did. I could have easily put on another 20-25 lb natty before attempting a cycle. But this was way back before Elite existed.
You do not have shit for muscle mass. (again, no offense but I have been there so I know). At your stats you have not been training long enough or you have not been training properly. I know you aren't eating properly because even shitty training and a real diet will yield results.
I'm not going to sit here and preach to you about waiting 2, 3, 5 years ect...that would make me a hypocrite. But I would definitely wait a year. 1 year. If you switch to proper training and learn how to train with maximum intensity and focus on form over weight AND diet like your life depends on it....that means real fucking food...NOT shakes. Add in some aminos, vitamins and maybe some creatine and a good pre workout.....then....I guarantee you would be much happier running a cycle AND you will likely keep quite a bit of your gains. As opposed to losing most of it. I have seen 3 guys real close to your stats in my gym lately doing exactly what you want to do. These guys train like morons...its laughable how and what they do...(im not saying you train this way) but I know they ran test cycles..... I saw maybe a 2% increase in muscle mass on all of them. They stop and they look the same. Its really sad actually.
Let me lay this out for you....you will do a cycle...eat so so....gain a little and lose 90%-100% of it. But in the process you will get and feel strong as shit and you will pile on the weights every week as you get stronger....guys in your position get sucked into it. I;m not being a dick...it really happens. I have been there. Then you damage your tendons, ligaments joints ect...because you haven't been training for a few years and they are not prepared to deal with what you're about to throw at it. If you are lucky you will avoid an actual acute injury like a tear. I am 37 now and am paying for dumb uneducated shit I did in the gym from age 21-25. You want to be that guy?
If I were you...I would do this:
1) post your diet. A sample of a typical day. I would wager it is not as good as you think it is.
2) Post your training split days and give us an idea of what you do on those days.
3) post a pic. black out your face ect...whatever.
4) start yourself on a routine like 5 sets of 20 reps per exercise. Chest example... flat bench and incline only on chest day. 5 sets of 20 reps each. Use a weight that you will be able to get 20 strict reps with...not too fast either. Controlled. This will really give you a reality check as to how strong you are and where your muscle conditioning is. Once you get all sets and reps then the next week increase 10 lb. If you don't get all 5 sets of 20 then you stay at the weight used the following week. Why? It will condition your muscles and especially your JOINTS, TENDONS, LIGAMENTS!!! Do this for everything. I don't care what it is....squats, deads, everything. If you aren't doing squats and deads then get the fuck doing them....and please don't be one of those faggots like at my gym who does half squats with too much weight. Learn how to do it right and use a weight you can perform full reps with. I don't care if it takes 5x20 with an empty bar to get you started.
Then after 3 months of this move into something like a 5x5 to really get you moving weight, getting stronger and putting on serious mass.
Do all this properly with enough diet and sleep and you will likely gain a minimum of 20 lb before ever touching AAS and your body and joints will be prepared for what you will throw at it.
You are a new guy looking for a quick fix. Even if you do what would be a real bad idea and run a cycle you will NOT end up looking the way you envision in your mind. And no....fish oil will not prevent tendon and ligament issues.
5) 500mg test wk is way more than needed for a first cycle. It is completely unnecessary
So yes....some asshole you don't know just told you you don't train right, eat right and aren't ready for aas. So you can either tell me to go fuck myself or heed the advice of someone who has been there and done that a few times and is trying to keep you from making the stupid mistakes I made that you are about to make.
Dude relax i get it. Lol.
My diet is typically:
For breakfast bagel, bacon/sausage, 3 boiled egg whites, mixed fruit, weight gainer shake, multi vitamins & omega 369 liquid fish oils.
Roughly 2 hours later more fruits (different from the morning) granola, peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Lunch some type of lean meat generally grilled or george foreman (steak, chicken breast, tilapia) potatoes and mixed steamed veggies (that i mircrowaved cause they were made the night before)
Roughly 2 hours later mixed nuts and seeds some baked chips and peanut butter and jelly. Maybe even slices of chedder cheese.
Then some point by the next 2 hours im at the crossfit gym where everyday we do a different olympic lift plus whatever the WOD is. 3 out of the 6 days im in there for 2 hours for the extra speciality training (mobility, strongman, gymnastics) through out crossfit im drinkin Kill Cliff (dont know if any of you guys are familiar with it) on the drive home i drink my protein shake. Eat dinner as soon as i can which is rougly the same as lunch just bigger portion. Lean meat, steamed veggies, regular cold veggies (lettuce, cucumbers, all color peppers, avocado) and another weight gainer shake.
After dinner, where ever i feel the burn i jump on my resistance bands.
Every other day ill do bicep curls with free weights (there no isolation lifting in crossfit) and everyday i do chair dips at work cuz my job is boring as fuck and alot of down time. Me and some buddies hike roughly 5 miles to our camping spot every weekend with 30+ lbs of gear.
Trust me dude its full extension with me. I myself hate the half assed squats, lunges, push ups, pull ups and whatever else. All the way up, all the way down.
