What am I doing wrong?

Okay, I’m tired of beating around the bush. I’m a beautiful (spectacularly beautiful) 25 year old girl. I’m articulate and classy.
I’m not from New York . I’m looking to get married to a guy who makes at least half a million a year. I know how that sounds, but keep in mind that a million a year is middle class in New York City, so I don’t think I’m overreaching at all.

Are there any guys who make 500K or more on this board? Any wives? Could you send me some tips? I dated a business man who makes average around 200 - 250. But that’s where I seem to hit a roadblock. 250,000 won’t get me to central park west. I know a woman in my yoga class who was married to an investment banker and lives in Tribeca, and she’s not as pretty as I am, nor is she a great genius. So what is she doing right? How do I get to her level?

Here are my questions specifically:

- Where do you single rich men hang out? Give me specifics- bars, restaurants, gyms

-What are you looking for in a mate? Be honest guys, you won’t hurt my feelings

-Is there an age range I should be targeting (I’m 25)?

- Why are some of the women living lavish lifestyles on the upper east side so plain? I’ve seen really ‘plain jane’ boring types who have nothing to offer married to incredibly wealthy guys. I’ve seen drop dead gorgeous girls in singles bars in the east village. What’s the story there?

- Jobs I should look out for? Everyone knows - lawyer, investment banker, doctor. How much do those guys really make? And where do they hang out? Where do the hedge fund guys hang out?

- How you decide marriage vs. just a girlfriend? I am looking for MARRIAGE ONLY

Please hold your insults - I’m putting myself out there in an honest way. Most beautiful women are superficial; at least I’m being up front about it. I wouldn’t be searching for these kind of guys if I wasn’t able to match them - in looks, culture, sophistication, and keeping a nice home and hearth.

Dear Pers-431649184:

I read your posting with great interest and have thought meaningfully about your dilemma. I offer the following analysis of your predicament.
Firstly, I’m not wasting your time, I qualify as a guy who fits your bill; that is I make more than $500K per year. That said here’s how I see it.

Your offer, from the prospective of a guy like me, is plain and simple a crappy business deal. Here’s why. Cutting through all the B.S., what you suggest is a simple trade: you bring your looks to the party and I bring my money. Fine, simple. But here’s the rub, your looks will fade and my money will likely continue into perpetuity…in fact, it is very likely that my income increases but it is an absolute certainty that you won’t be getting any more beautiful!

So, in economic terms you are a depreciating asset and I am an earning asset. Not only are you a depreciating asset, your depreciation accelerates! Let me explain, you’re 25 now and will likely stay pretty hot for the next 5 years, but less so each year. Then the fade begins in earnest. By 35 stick a fork in you!

So in Wall Street terms, we would call you a trading position, not a buy and hold…hence the rub…marriage. It doesn’t make good business sense to “buy you” (which is what you’re asking) so I’d rather lease. In case you think I’m being cruel, I would say the following. If my money were to go away, so would you, so when your beauty fades I need an out. It’s as simple as that. So a deal that makes sense is dating, not marriage.

Separately, I was taught early in my career about efficient markets. So, I wonder why a girl as “articulate, classy and spectacularly beautiful”
as you has been unable to find your sugar daddy. I find it hard to believe that if you are as gorgeous as you say you are that the $500K hasn’t found you, if not only for a tryout.

By the way, you could always find a way to make your own money and then we wouldn’t need to have this difficult conversation.

With all that said, I must say you’re going about it the right way.
Classic “pump and dump.”
I hope this is helpful, and if you want to enter into some sort of lease, let me know.

I wish my old asian boss would have met her. He treated girls who love money like something else. He had money and was old school and just dogged white gold digging bitches all day.

I miss it how hed abuse them

Sad thing is she'll still find that rich gullible guy...who knows maybe even him? lol. She will pwn him in the divorce after her looks are gone lol.

The most direct and truthful answer is often the most painful one to accept.

b0und (there there)

Good answer.

If I had the loot, I would spend all my free time wrangling in these chicks and absolutely demeaning them in every possible way. Treating them like dogs. Spitting on them, urinating in their doggy water bowls. Hiding $50,000 necklaces in the toilet after I took a huge shit. Making her wipe my ass clean with her hair. Stuff like that.

I just want you to know that I laughed so hard just now I had a little tear come out my eye. A simple "lol" here just wouldnt do.
Oh, and healother, I thought you waid this chick was classy?

I dont understand what her problem was for finding a pool of perspective suitors if she was who she claimed to be. I am not questioning her beauty as that is fairly easily attained. One only need walk into any gentlemen's club and certainly there are beauties of all shapes, sizes and coloring. I am, however, questioning her intellect and demeanor.

In any event, I thought the gentleman's response to her ad was to the point, classy and dead spot on.

Actually in all likelihood she'll find a guy who would use her just as she was using him. There are plenty of guys in that world who are satisfied to have nothing more than a pretty thing on his arm to take to social/business functions and have his kids. She's a piece of work - and I don't mean that in any sort of positive way - but she won't have to lie about what she wants to get it. He'll probably cheat on her at every corner and she'll probably drown her sorrows at the Mandarin Oriental spa, and they'll be your typical power business couple in Manhattan. Depressing.

awsome

Men who have attained that level of success have a lot better thoughts to waste their grey matter on than how to degrade a woman that average men find hot.

Can you folks imagine how well a guy could do in the dating market if he made at least 500k per year?
Surely he wouldnt be wasting his time around trash like this. He'd have so many options.

she claims to be classy in her post, but it was put in the title sarcastically.

So you honestly think you would get any more play then you do now if you made 500k?

for sure. I would have my own place, a nice car, I would look fantastic, I could afford to buy pretty women drinks, get them drunk, etc.

I could afford to hire someone to make an online dating profile, to talk to women online for me. I could be on every popular online dating site.

I could afford to go on dates every night, and pay for the dates.

But youd still be an awkward, wierd, bumbling space cadet bruh. Money cant get you out of that.

money could buy me a personal trainer when it comes to dating. I could have a player keeping their eye on me at the restaurant and giving me advice afterwards.

Oh man... good idea. You could hire KillahBee - that is one smooth operator. He could also show you how to dress.

Massive quantities of vag-vag that guy would get for you.

I have to disagree...You have an excellent point as far as him not being able to use $ as a means of finding anything bearing a semblance of a relationship...But as long as there is a guy with a lot of money, there will be cheap women looking to suck his cawk. I'm not saying all women are like this by any means...Healother just wants pussy. He could easily get that with a large bank account.

Clarification: money wont get him beyond shallow short term chicks using him

a friend works for a national corp, they asked him to transfer from NYC to some flyover hamlet (oollollo). same salary

he went from a 2BR apt in manhattan riding the subway to what looks like a villa with a pool, and a bmw in the driveway.

That was hilarious and so true. If I had that kind of money and knew that a woman was with me for the money, I'd trade her in as soon as her looks started fading. Of course, she'd never sign the prenup.
