I think Randy is too old now to make up for all the weight he is going to give up to Sylvia - hopefully it won't be embarassing and tarnish Randy's legacy because he's the man.

Kinda strange, the UFC has no rankings. They seem to pick fights that will create controversy and rake in the cash, don't get me wrong though, I love it.

WOW!! not sure if this is a great idea on Randy's part.....but hey, who am I to say? I wonder what weight he'd come in at? He's got to be at least 230-240 if he plans on driving Sylvia into the fence. I actually think that standing with Sylvia for awhile isn't a bad idea. I've never been impressed with Sylvia's power.....it's always been a combination of shots that puts guys down. So maybe Randy can absorb a shot or two to get inside.....where I think he could easily strike with Tim.....or drive him. But his age is what worries me........does he have the pop to explode through Tim later in the rounds?

Tim has size, respectable power, his ground game aint bad and he's fairly young.
Randy....age, been away from the ring for quite a while and is smaller.

after watching monson i think randy will lose. just too much of a size difference and big tim is such a boring fighter and will go for the "sylvia smoother" again. cro cop on the other hand is gonna rock timmy's world, because he has shown that, yes, he can knock a 6'10" fighter out with that missle of a left foot.

What do you guys think about the Franklin vs Macdonald fight? I'm thinking that this is a dangerous fight for franklin to be coming back in. Even though mcdonald only has a few UFC fights under his belt, his ground game is incredible. I'm not sure about his stand up but if the fight goes to the ground, I'm thinking Mcdonald will have the advantage

On the original note - Couture will hand Sylvia his ass. This fight is truely going to be about the intangibles of each fighter. Forget about the reach or weight that Tim has on Randy - Sylvia does not fight wigth any passion or visible desire to win. He is content to walk around the ring and hand every fan a crummy fight not even worth half of the ridiculous $40 UFC has the balls to charge for their recent sub-par PPV events. Couture definitely has a problem with this and wants to make a point. I sure as hell don't want to waste my time watching Cro Cop beat up on Sylvia.
