Hi,
I'm a new one here and received a lot of great advice from my first post. I've been trying to clean up my diet even more and was just wondering what y'alls opinions are on a couple things. First is my question on meal replacement bars...sometimes I'll grab one in the morning before work if I'm running late and don't have time to make myself breakfast (I have to drop my baby off at a sitters so i'm usually short on time). Anyhow, I tend to like the Met-Rx Pure Protein Bars. They have 250 calories, 8 grams fat, 13 carbs, 2 sugar, and 34 grams of protein. Ugggg.... I just noticed the 8 grams of fat is saturated
Do you think this is ok.....or am I hurting my diet by doing this?
Second, I am a BIG cereal addict....and I don't mean oatmeal either. I usually eat 'shredded wheat n' bran' mixed in with some 'Kashi Good Friends'. Both are pretty high in fiber...the shredded wheat has no sugar while I think the Kashi has about 3 grams per serving. I eat this with soy milk. Could this be another sabotage to my diet. (If you didn't read my first post, I'm pretty thin but need to really tone).
Thanks for any advice!
