could i be considered a midget?

i dont kno whether or not i could b considered a midget...i mean i dont have the weird looking arms or fingers or anythign but im not exactly average height either...im only 13 so everyone says that im still going to grow but i have to have this plastic surgery thing on my bones and i got x rays the other day for like my whole body and the doctor had said that i might have to wait until i was like 18 because the growth plates wouldnt be closed enough to work with the bones but my growth plates have already closed so i guess ive stopped growing newayz im 4'9''...would this be considered a midget? :(

No you wouldn't be considered a midget, not when you're 4'9" at 13 years old! If you were that height at 20 you'd be short for a guy, but midgets are like 3 foot tall. You're bound to grow throughout the next 7 years or so. Think I was shorter than you when I was 13 and I'm 6'1" now.

I do wonder why you're posting this on an anabolics message board though....?

I mean it's a well known fact that working out at an early age stunts your growth, hope your not working out at 13.

My 26 year old gf is 4'10" She's a little hotty tho.:)

One of my best friends is about 5'4" and I like to call him things like 3 feet, shrimpy, too short, tree stump, stumpy. Especially when were drunk. Good times.
 
I was 5'3" in 8th grade, now I'm 5'8" at 39. I've known people to grow 6 inches in college.
 
I went from 5'6" in 9th grade to 5'11" now (I'm 24). Late life growth is possible, but not highly likely. And at 13 dont even worry. My sis is 17 and a whopping 4'10", and I always call her midget, shorty, or I use her head/shoulders as an arm rest. Good times :lmao:.
 
Also, I believe the legal size for midget is 4'6" by the age of 18 years (My sister knows this......she always uses it as her argument).
 
In 8th grade I was 5'3... in 9th grade I was 5'9, when I graduated HS I was 6'1 -- you still have time to grow...

Micheal Jordan grew from 6'1" to 6'6" in between his soph and junior years in HS

actually, I got sick of teetering on my dick, so I had a penis reduction so my feet could sit flat on the ground. hehe, ok, now i'm getting carried away and simply amusing myself.
 
let me correct ecvery one and make tis clear. If a man is under 4'11 he qualifies for the migit olympics. A woman i do not know
 
I was 5'0" my freshman year of high school. There were kids who were shorter than me but eventually grew to average height. It's really not that uncommon to be very short at your age.
 
actually i wasnt quite sure which board to post it on so i just picked the first one i saw lol thanx 4 the info tho but the thing i was sayin was that ive stopped growing cuz they said my growth plates have closed...and no i dont want to b a midget...my bf iz like 6'1'' and itz kinda hard 2 slow dance...last dance sum1 got me a chair 2 stand on and i was at the perfect height
 
o yea and the weird thing iz that all of my uncles were professional football playerz so i mean they're really tall....ive caught my mum talkin 2 my sister a few timez sayin how much shorter i am than she was at my age but of course they all get quiet when i walk in the room lol yea so pretty much family reunions are nitemares :0....lartinos whats HGH? and paul2110 how would working out at an early age stunt your growth? i mean ive heard all these myths like smoking, working out, and drinking coffee stunt ur growths but i never thought they were tru...
 
If I were you....I'd take all the roids I could get my hands on and enter midget wrestling...You'd probobly kick some serious ass and be the world champ in no time, remember how great dink the clown was in the WWF and he competed with big people... Let me know if you need a manager/agent...Go gettem champ!
 
HGH = Human Growth Hormone. it has recently been approved to give to children and young adults who are in your situation (who are short and would like to grow). i will look for an article for you.
 
2 of my best buddies at that age that were that short and they both ened up right at 6 foot. they didnt' really grow "up" until they hit about 15-16 and caught up with everyone else.

To address the working out too young thing: I lifted weights (curls, pushups, benches etc.) when I was 5-7 years old. I did all kinds of lifting when I was 11 on, including shoulder presses, benches, all kinds of stuff. I'm 6'2" now, which is 4 inches taller than my dad and 12 inches taller than my mom.

Maybe it helped that I didn't do heavy squats or deadlifts? I think that as long as you stay with relatively light weights you don't have to worry. (richard Sandrak looks pretty short for his age at this point- the really buff 10 year old kid on Ripley's)

yea this iz a girl and no im not gay lol but 4 every1 who keeps tryin 2 tell me that ill still grow...MY GROWTHPLATES ARE CLOSED im getting surgery and i took xrayz....read my other post i dont feel like typing it all again.. bottom line IM NOT GROWING NEMORE :D
 
Doubt you'll be able to get a prescription for HGH, because the prescribing Dr. would have to see pitutiary deficiency. Just because you're short doesn't mean that you're deficient or anything. Just wait it out.
 
Im telling you .... Juice up, join midget wrestling, and i'll be your manager. You can have your own Avatar like rvd_brock has but with you as the wrestler!! Just picture it, you wrestling...and me your manager, smashing your opponent's head in with a steel chair...
 
do they really have female wrestlers? and newayz i do ballet theres no ay i could b a wrestler lol ive punched out mah sis a few times but i dont think that counts
 
not good 4 u maybe but id like 2 meet a short guy 4 once....all of my boyfriends have been like giants! well i suppose every1 iz like a giant compared 2 me lol

I think short women are the best women out there. Not to mention most fitness babes are rarely over 5'3. My wife is 4'11 and I wouldn't want her any taller.
