I had dinner tonight with a man that is a sexual pedophile counselor. He basically gives convicted sex offenders therapy. If it were me I couldn't do it. I would reach over the table and slap the shit out of these people.

I guess you would have to look at it like - the pedophile is sick - and he has the same right to treatment as everyone else. Maybe you would have to try to focus on how to prevent further acts as opposed to focusing on the specifics of what he had done in the past.
Maybe the worst part of the job would be knowing how you are very unlikely to really do any good. Don’t a majority of sex offenders continue to commit sex crimes?
Kinda like drug addicts. A drug counselor has to be disheartened knowing that two thirds of his patients are going to relapse.

i dont give a shit what a gang of prisoners considers high or low. theyre the scum of society, as if im going to buy into their reality. ill make my own decisions, thanks.

bottom line is that paedopiles are human too and i will treat them as such.

sure if they did something to my kid id kill them happily, but when its time to step up and be an anonymous health professional, you shut up and treat all your patients well.
