COTB What is the solution?

Let's see some serious suggestions about how to make EF a fit place again for the leet and the lame.

1) COTBs should be reddable. The post was created for business members and crappy red Karma might upset them but putting a member on ignore will remove the red messages from their profile page. In the interests of the Plat members, COTB should be reddable.

2) Diffusing COTB bombs. The stickyness of COTB bombs is making Plat members seem like trash to the board. Maybe make them double or triple cost to diffuse but many members are here for serious purposes with serious advice in the other fora. A non-diffusable bomb can cause harm to their reputation and be of great inconvenience to other serious posters seeking help, advice and information.

Elite Mods should have some form of control over the threads of COTB, Or there should be at least one person with that control here 24/7. By the way, why not fauna?

Don't let douchebags become COTB. They were supposed to be by special invite. The Invatation criteria should be more than a simple "do we think they will pay for it?"

The post was pretty clearly created for business purposes but now that it's opened up to any member to purchase it needs to be seen as a Super-Plat.

Maybe there needs to be a two-tiered COTB. One version with the current powers for sponsors only and responsilble only to Admins and Elite mods and some cut-down version for general members to buy.

The criteria for that special invite seems to be "anyone who can pay" that was my original point, they are not very discriminating with who they will invite.

And i went lifetime plat because it made the most sense for me from a cost standpoint.

There is no point to be going non plat, doesn't hurt anyone but me.
