Contest Result pics

This was my first contest. I dieted down for 9 weeks I needed as you can probably see 12. My legs and lower abs never really came in. I started to burn up doing cardio the last week to try to make my weight class but in doing so i lost the hardness that I wanted and I came in alittle flat. I was 198.5 in the morning. In the evening I looked alittle better and alittle fuller. I will post pictures taken in the evening later on. I would like to goto the heavy's by april. Advice suggestions, critics, all welcome. Thanks.

Hard to give any advise because pictures are too small, but from what I see you did look a bit smooth as you yourself pointed out, but man it takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice to get into that kind of shape so my hat is off to you. Great job

If you can post some more pics I'll give you my opinion.

DUH! Sorry bro. Feel kind of silly now. ;)

OK having reviewed the pics I say your biggest issue, as you pointed out, was you were holding water and from what I know that's more an issue of experience and diet versus training.

If you had the same physique, but were more ripped and defined you'd look even better.

You look young. Keep training hard and keep learning. Good luck
 
What Rupe said -- Definitely see some really nice quad shape - its just smoothed out right now. Your proportions look really nice -- w/ your height compared to the guys next to you -- I'd go for a little thicker & cut up - but I would imagine just adding more to your frame - it seems to be very aesthetic.

I wondered about calves -- hard to tell how you are built in those pix & if you are holding water in them -- looks like you've got a nice long quad and a nice popping calf would complete a nice thick leg.
 
BE the best that you can be and just try to improve your physique for your next contest whenever that may be. GOOD LUCK
