So I just wanted to know in a hypothetical sense about GPP/conditioning. Say you have 2 people exactly the same in every single aspect EXCEPT: one practices GPP and is as highly conditioned as possible, and the other never practices gpp and obviously has very poor conditioning. So now say they both start working out and incrementally adding weight with linear progress. say they both get to 225lb squat. so now would this be true: say if they work up to 405lb squat, the highly conditioned one could still possibly be working on easy workout to workout linear progress, but it would take longer for the poorly conditioned one to reach 405, to where he would have to be working on week to week or even month to month to reach 405?
Mainly the question here is, is it possible to keep progressing on linear progress (say the 3x5 rippetoe) for a very long time (a year or more?) before even switching to weekly progress if you are very highly conditioned?
