OK, here's the deal...
a certain individual, whose name I will withhold for the time being, keeps IM'ing me (the EF chat messenger) whenever I log on. I dismissed it at first because he was obviously a Newbie... I didn't tell him to go fuck himself right off because he claims to be a UT student (Go Horns!) like myself.
His questions were seemingly innocuous at first, but then he started to ask things like, "how much gear do you keep at your house?" and "Where in West Campus do you live?"... shit like that, getting me real suspicious...
I did a post search and he has a grand total of 0 posts to his name. With this, I told him that I didn't trust him and did not wish to chat with him any longer. I told him that there were only two ways he could gain my confidence: 1) become an active poster on EF and establish himself this way 2) give me his name and major and I would look him up on the UT server - I would call him at the phone number I found on there.
Now, I realize that option 2 is not something most people would go for... however, he contacted me, and therefore he is going to have to prove himself to me if we are gonna talk about illegal shit. Also, he asked me for my phone number previously...so, I didn't think he would have a proablem giving me his info for verificaiton purposes.
Well, he has since ignored my stipulations for further contact and he keeps IM'ing me... needless to say, I am a bit concerned.
So, I was wondering what people thought about this... has anyone had problems like this over the EF messenger before? Thanks y'all...
