- change the homepage
- run a spyware program like Adaware or Spybot.

To get rid of it download "Spybot Search & Destroy". Do a search on google to find it. Install it and reboot your computer in "Safe Mode" (press F8 right when Windows is booting up). Delete the "C:\spe" directory and then run Spybot.
