Computer peeps: Need to format a hard drive that has Vista on it...About to call Geek Squad.Noooooo

my computer says F@ for setup but when i press it repeatedly upon reboot i gets nathan.

that is a tough one

will it let you install XP and set it up on a seperate partition?

If it does, set up XP on the other partition and boot into XP and format the Vista partition from there.

nope i can't even get the OS to run now. I had part. magic running. it said restart now my comp won't even get to desktop. F2 ain't workin neither is anything else. shit

the changes that you tell partition magic to make happen when you reboot. in order to format the drive you cant be running the OS.

SO if you told you pmagic to format the drive and you rebooted - then it did its job. try the xp disk now

its not recognizing the xp or the vista disk on reboot...im running outta options. All my karma to whoever can fix this in the next 2.5 hours or im just giving in

i only have a bootable Vista Disk which is now worthless...
my XP disk is not bootable, didn't burn it properly. so i have nothing to boot.
