Computer peeps: Need to format a hard drive that has Vista on it...About to call Geek Squad.Noooooo

its not a multiboot system only one, just one no xp on another partition.
i installed it and removed Xp completely so there is no other option but formatting the disk which is totally fine. I've googled and can't come up with an answer,however which sucks balls. Bunch of Karma to whoever can guide me through to see the light. Its an NTFS drive. Basically I want XP back b/c Vista has too many probs iwth other programs ..it looks cool, but anyway. I want this drive erased!!! Help please! Did I leave out any details??lmk

You can't format a drive with window, while windows is running.

Do you know how to boot in DOS? I can help you out if you can get that far.

1. turn off computer
2. insert XP boot disk
3. follow instructions to delete partition and re-create partition
4. install xp

karma transfer ASAP

"clean install" XP

ALSO
get all your drivers for your computer BEFORE you wipe your disk.

What is your computer brand and model?

->reformat drive

i keep getting emails and stuff but so far no vista
i submitted my order in freakin march

do you really think he has what it takes to run linux AND be happy?

i think there is a linux based program that is similiar to PartitionMagic. I have heard it is easy to use and is very fast. I havent messed with it though
