Computer Guys...Help Needed

My computers sound isnt working. The song plays and the speakers are plugged in and working but no sound is comming out of them. I know the speakers themselves are good but i cant get any sound to come out of my computer anymore. Does anyone have any idea as to why the sound isnt turning on? Is there something in windows that i need to adjust??

Check in you control panel and see if your sound card if having issues.

Where in control panel should i look????

press and hold the windows button on your keyboard(it has the windows logo on it) and then press the Pause/Break key.

then go to device manager and click on Sound.
YOu may need to reinstall the sound driver again on you pc.
