Need some help.

2 - look at the graphic that spells out "Portrait Design, Inc."
3 - The way it slowly appears as if it is being written, then the way the glossy reflection runs across it.
4 - Tell me what program is used to create that. (is it hard?)
Obviously, it looks like it is done in a precast font format with multiple layers cycling through one another.... can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial that will help me design one of my own?
