Coffee and Whey?

Has anyone ever successfully mixed the two?

I read about it a long time ago somewhere, but pretty much every type of whey I've tried has clumped up when mixed. I mean, it's drinkable, but the texture freakin' blows.

And yes, vanilla whey and coffee tastes good :)

Are there any brands of quality whey that come coffee-flavoured?

I have added 2 whey scoops in a hot & strong coffee, with Splenda & cinnamon and the result was surprinsingly good :)

On a side note I've willing to read "The art of war" for a long time but couldn't find the time (oh, I'm a bit lazy too)
Do you know a condensed version of this book?
A kinda "best of" ? ;)

Hmm, I'll have to try that. What brand of whey do you use?

I highly recommend the translation done by Stephen F. Kaufman, Hanshi 10th dan. Many of the translations today are aimed at the "suit and tie guy", for business. I was interested in the actual application to war. It's an easy read at just over 100 pages.

Publisher is Tuttle Publishing.

I prefer to buy "generic" non flavored whey and add my own flavoring/sweeteners

i mix coffee, usually warm, into a whey shake with a little milk. it tastes gooood..

usually coffee left over from the morning, so, maybe gross to some.

I mix a scoop of Whey with cold water in a shaker first, then add a couple shots of espresso, some milk and Splenda and reheat…seems to be the best way to get rid of the clumpies.

I tryed it for a while. Unless you have fast access to a bathroom half hour after i wouldnt do it. hahahah. Goes out as fast as it goes in.

LMAO, I thought I was the only one. It does clump if you add too much but my bulk whey isolate works fine(like a tablespoon).

Yeah, I've been messing around with how much I can add---any more than a tbsp and I get chewy coffee.

I haven't tried adding instant coffee to a vanilla protien shake yet, but I bet it would be damn good.
