big, crowded.

i wouldnt make a special trip for it but if you are in the area, check it out. im not one much for the club scene though.

JUst got back from PCB today. During the off times, the place is not worth admission price. But during holidays or busy times, it can be pretty good. If you dont like clubs in your home town, you probably wont like it at the beach either.

damn, my company almost bought the land with that club on it, lol
the owner wanted to strike a deal where he retained half ownership of la vela
somebody else outbid us though

I've been there during spring break and didn't like it at all...everybody hyped it up. I had to pay $15 I believe and was out of there in minutes...spinnakers, harpoon harry's and the others where much better IMO

I got kicked out, lol.

Me and a buddy were there and the security thought they were badasses or something. No matter where we stood or how much we we out of the way they seemed to tell us to move somewhere else. Almost like they were on a power trip telling us what to do.

So I said to my buddy "Watch this" and I launched my beer into the air and watched it explode all over the place. The security came towards us saying "Hey you there", and by that time we were ready to leave so I shot them both middle fingers over my shoulder.

They tried to grab me to throw me out and I said "I am leaving anyways, you touch me and I'll knock your ass out". We had about 15 security peeps following us out, but they never touched us. I yelled a big "Fuck off" as we exited the building.

They marked us with a big X on our hands.
We rubbed it off and went back next night and had no problems.

I went a lil' over 2 years ago... it was ALRIGHT. But then again, I don't really like the club scene.
