I know this has to happen to some of you out there..
Trying on more girly clothes...and realizing you cant wear them because either your arms, shoulders or lats are too big for it!!literally looks like your going to bust out of it like the hulk! along with chest size!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Nope the only issue I have is that my legs are not long enough for ANY jeans that I like!!!

Ditto!

Anybody have any brands they like?

seems like I often get stuck buying a size up and tailoring down the waist

and it doesnt help that I still like juniors stores like american eagle, gap etc because I so rarely have to dress up for anything

great idea about the waist! Duh. seems so obvious now that you mention it. :verygood:

I get all my clothes tailored, which starts to get expensive. But its worth it. I have to buy bigger sizes and get the waisets taken in. Its what happens when you lift.

The bodyparts I find hard to fit are my thighs and my ass. My calves are something ridiculous like 17", thighs have gone up as high as 26", and butt expands as the legs grow. Dresses never fit my lower body as they are supposed to. Not so much quad as it is gigantically thick hams and glutes. Pants? Forget it.

gimmie some of you calves! mine refuse to grow more than 15"

i have a broad upper body, shoulders/back/thankfully no huge boobies. and i can usually find something that fits okay. below the waist is where the problems are at for me!

you ladies try belts? they have some awesome belts out there. just wrap around your waist and some will actually emphasize rather than detract from your "attributes". use the bests girls!

I should get some belts! I dont own one belt.

Hehe me too. At 5'2 ALL my jeans need to be hemmed as they are too long (though I had this problem before bodybuilding lol). Just another reason to love short season.

And since I've started lifting I can't find any t-shirts that fit. The ones that fit my chest/shoulders are way too big in the waist. And the ones that aren't too big in the waist won't fit over my chest/shoulder area. Its not fun to have to get one of the saleswomen to help you get a t-shirt you were trying on off. Plus since none of them lift, they don't understand, they just assume you're too fat and were trying to squeeze into a size too small for you. It's embarssing :(

I hate buying suit jackets even worse I hate wearing them like many said they need to be tailord. Oh and since I got the boobage no chance in hell buying a evening gown off the rack without some massive work to bring in the waist. If you find jeans with a stretch I tend not to have as much issues for my legs. Calves are to big to ever buy a pair of boats that are real leather. On the postive side bikini shopping is easy cause there is always XL tops and XS bottoms left :D

I've had issues finding properly fitting pants since I was in the 8th grade. Nothing off the rack fits the latina bubble and the waist. I haven't worn jeans since I was probably 14 as a result.

Now I've developed a problem with tops and, especially, bras. I've finally succeeded in getting a bit of a lat spread, so now I need a 40D. I can almost never find any cute bras in that size though. DD is too much cup and 38 definitely isn't enough strap anymore. I used to be able to get cute and inexpensive bras at Target. Not anymore.

Bras ... talking lats ... you know the whole "measure your band size then add 5" if the number is odd and 4" if the number is even" routine? Yeah, well when I do that the number is LARGER than my bust at its fullest point (not a department I was blessed in even after a baby).

I live in mens jeans and sweatshirts in the winter, cargo shorts and loose t-shirts in the summer. I fucking hate shopping for clothes (shoes too, but I've ranted about THAT before). When you try to put on the largest size a store offers and your arm gets stuck in the sleeve at mid biceps it totally ruins all the joy you may have about your most current personal best lift.

Luckily, I'm 45, married and work from home. The only person who gives a shit what I look like anymore is happy if I'm naked.
