Close Grip Incline Barbell Presses - Do these exist?

I am getting back into the game after a loooooong layoff. I remember way back in high school, my gym teacher had us do these with very light weights. They seemed to really make my upper chest/tri's work.

I did a quick google search and didn't find anything. Are these even used anymore or do people just stick with the basics like incline presses and close grip flat benches?
 
I do back squats for chest - seems to work.

Flat Bench and some DB Incline is all anyone should ever need. Just focus on getting good at a few lifts. Personally I do well Squating, Benching, and Rowing 3x a week w/ 4 rest days. I like to Deadlift on my 2nd day.

If you plan to be a competitive BB learn how to use the cables - if you plan to powerlift never ever use the cables...
 
By taking a close grip, you're isolating your triceps. Assuming you wish to isolate or strongly move emphasis onto your triceps, do you think it's advantageous to do it on an incline? If the answer is 'yes' then consider it a good movement. I suspect that you'll get a good, if not better, balance of stress from a more normal grip with less strain on your wrists.

If you take a close grip to bench with, be aware of the extra stresses the position imposes.
 
I like CG inclines- they seem to target several of my weaker areas at once.

It's all related to being able to make the bar travel upwards on the bench. Powerlifters often use a variety of grips in their training, not just competition and close-grip but extra-wide, and 1 or 2 inches either way. Obviously the idea is to develop more complete overall strength which then assists your actual bench effort.

There's hundreds of variations of any exercise out there but, as others have posted, ultimately you need to go with what works in your particular case.
