Clonidine as gh releaser
Just wishing to express thanks for the response to my "clonidine" posting inquiry a while back. Had a problem finding out where I'd read about it possibly being a "life extension" supplement. I used to take a very tiny baby dose of it for mild, mild hypertension, then stopped since I read some place that it might cause some serious vision problems. I was wondering now what dose I might suggest that my rather conservative physicisn prescribe to me now. I'm not really being teated for hypertension but rather for chronic depression. Maybe if I resent the request to him worded properly, he may start prescribing clonidine again to me. I do have a strong family history of hypertension and I am 55 yrs old now. Just began taking Remeron as an anti-depressant medication recently too. Only started with 15 mg. at bedtime, but having no problems with it other than perhaps feeling very enhausted at times (and this could be caused by depession or something else even). Thanks for reading this far and for any thoughts on this matter. Reason I wonder about the life extension properties of clonidine is that as a prescription drug, it would be covered by health insurance I have; whereas nutritional supplements are not covered at all and I am living on disability income now.
May you live long and prosper,
Larry
