Clomid instead of Nolvadex for a woman..?

Any women here used Clomid instead of the Nolva when trying to lean out? I've only used Nolvadex and used it in contest preps... Had great results with it but was told the other day that next time I should use Clomid instead because it works better and is safer than Nolvadex.

Anyone have experience in this area? Or know any other women that have used it??

IQ, Clomid is given to women as a fertility drug. If you decide to use it make sure you are protected. Bumping this up for ya

NOOOOOO!! women shouldn't take clomid.. ever... unless your trying to get pregnant... better stay with the nolvadex... they are two completely different drugs... If you want to try anything... use Aldactone... this (for females) will help minimize virlization symptoms.. along with being a potassium sparing diuretic and an aldosterone antagonist. Nolvadex is a great antiestrogen, but because of a possible rebound effect, its best to stack with proviron... nolvadex will also help in the burning of fat, increased test levels, increased muscle hardness... ect ect!!!

there are many great things for women to take, so dont' worry about the clomid.

Yup, what dieslgirl said. Clomid will actually cause your body to produce MORE estrogen YUCK. And make ya breed like a rabbit.

thanks dieslgirl and MS... I appreciate the responses a lot. I kept reading about how clomid is used for fertility thats why the whole thing didnt make sense. I need to talk to that dr again... Find out why he recommended it.
