i'd like to know the dose given to rats that caused cardiac cell death.

this article says 2mg per kg of body weight. this seem very high as we take doses in micrograms (mcg)

Ya the doses in that study were on the high end.

mac, ive read that some guys go as high as 8grams / day with the ALCAR. what is the max recommended dose? 8grams seems too high to me.

max dose is relative, some people see better results at high dosages.

though typically reccomend 2-4 grams day. though nothing wrong with trying higher, you may find you love it.
