Clemens named for using steroids!

It doesn't actually say Clemens used steroids, just 'performance enhancing drugs'. This is different from Tejada and his Oriole teamates who were specially names for using 'anabolic steroids'.
Clemens may only be on the hook for amphetemines and/or growth hormone.

Strength really has little to do with throwing fast or being an effective pitcher. So much of it is mechanics, and a lot of that depends on the specific pitcher's body. The only way I could see roids helping him is with recuperation and that would explain why he was so fortunate in avoiding injury.

No suprise here. It's more a question now of who DIDN'T use performance enhancing drugs.

He's been rumored for years but without finding the source everything stayed a rumor. People should go to his uncles bar in Del Valle Texas to see the pics of the body changes over time, must have been all those protein shakes his uncle would say to patrons.

Even Randy Johnson was juicing. Just look at the way his number fell off when the steroid scandals started a couple years ago. As soon as he came off it was obvious.

Shit, figure skaters and everyone else is using something for one reason or another! Once the owners see the big picture, maybe they'll be able to protect the players from these in denial, apple-pie, Bob Costas motherfuckers. (Then again CONGRESS threatened to get involved...What a fucking country).

Roger Clemens had that famous "waterhead" look. you could eat a pasta dinner out of his fucking hat. and the dude does weight train. lots of Squats and lower body work. even though i saw him using the smith machine using an akward stance, he had 300+ on there and was pumping out reps quite rapidly.....

clemens has taken advantage of packing muscle on his legs late in his career.

The legs are what "drives" a pitcher, and his are as powerful as it comes.
this also put less pressure/stress on his arms/shoulders.

It's funny how everyone is shitting on the "batters" for juicing, but the guys tossing them the ball are also in the mix.

Next to track athletes, baseball players are the biggest juicers in sports.
I used to work out in Arizona, and every year, during spring training players would come into the gym, ride the bikes a while, and then start asking around.
