CLA, L-Carnitine, L-Arginine - Comments?

I'm considering adding these to my supplementation plan. Currently, I'm cutting, in the beginning of my transformation, trying to lose about 30 lbs of fat mass. I'm 19, I weigh 179 lbs and 18.54 % body fat. I'm taking Whey Protein Isolate, L-Glutamine, and Flax Seed Oil. I wanted to get some opinions on CLA, L-Carnitine, and L-Arginine. Being I want to lose the fat and keep what muscle I can while doing so, and if not maybe adding some muscle, which would be best. Thanks

Those are all solid compounds. I have always received good results from L-Carnitine, but on paper it has not lived up to the claims in regards to fat burning. However, there is new research on L-Carnitine and more specifically L-Carnitine L-Tartrate, which has just recently been discovered to have some recuperation properties. LCLT at a dose of 2 grams a day was shown to reduce the amount of muscle disruption after weight training. The positive results from LCLT administration are believed to be a result of enhanced oxygen supply to the muscle by means of increased blood flow. In addition to that, it appears that LCLT may support protein synthesis and anabolic response to exercise by protecting anabolic receptors from excessive damage as a result of resistant exercise.
